Persivul has been banned from Discussion forums for two months for a pattern of continued homophobia and related comments, as well as personal attacks on others.

Edit: To clarify - Framing controversial topics in incendiary and hostile ways is unacceptable behavior.

Not_Mafia has been banned from Discussion Forums for (expired on 2020-02-29 13:40:00) for using offensive language towards another forum user.

CooLDoG has been indefinitely banned for inciting and justifying violence as documented beginning here, continued espousal of racist ideology, and use of prohibited racial epithets. CooLDoG also attempted to delete the most recent occurrences of these latter offenses from the record in an explicit attempt to evade moderator review. Indeed, CooLDoG has violated nearly every conduct rule to some extent or another at some point.

CooLDoG will need to be replaced in all active games. This extends to all alt and hydra accounts as well:

davesaz has been banned from Discussion Forums for one week for a) posting to insult or offend other users on the site with this post, and b) weaponising the mod team during an argument - here, breaking rule 7 (Another user breaking these rules does not justify breaking the rules yourself.)

Further, he has consistently toed the line in the last few months with the apparent intention of offending and provoking others into actionable behavior while staying just technically within the letter of the rules. This violates the spirit of rule 4, which prohibits pushing those boundaries.

Please let this serve as a reminder that warnings and bans are neither arbitrary nor random. They are intended to modify behavior to promote a more amicable environment. Provoking toxicity runs counter to that goal.
