His post reminded me of an ad/article in Nintendo power encouraging people to go to an official, sanctioned, chat room for pokemon fans. It was a moderated chat room that could ban/kick chatters which is naturally appealing for the fandom of a game that is appealing to children. The ad/article felt it was necessary to show an example demonstrating that the chatroom was moderated. But it was kind of a catch 22 because putting the kind of offensive content that would prompt moderation action would in and of itself be objectionable. So the example that was used was a user repeatedly using the chatroom to ask whether Mew likes ice cream. The moderator kicks the user roundabout the third time the user asks.

The idea of Mew eating icecream from a cone it is levitating is adorable. That mental image has always stuck with me.

Neaps are kind of threatening so if the mafia was paying very much attention it is pretty possible that notscience got kicked from this chatroom for asking whether geraintm likes ice cream lol

Looking back on the game after flipping Hoopla I think bob is much more likely to be town of the two just from the sum of how people have interacted with bob +snap call of how I was reading some of Bob's early posts. There was a cluster of really towny posts bob made at one point that Hoopla called towny for wifom but I think they were just good posts.

This suggests that Not Mafia Is genuinely conftown, assuming the mafia are now at one goon one full roleblocker and that's why I couldn't act night four, then not-mafia would have been busy roleblocking people n3 as scum. It could randomly be an even night roleblocker or whatever but I'd like to just risk it.

The role crumb or the results crumbs? Role crumbs should be obscure, you only prove that you contemplated the role during D1. As scum you could crumb 4 or 5 roles vaguely and that's fine. If you crumb it as clearly as notscience that's obviously dumb and a way to get shot.

For the results crumbs, their suckitude is proportional to how important they are. When notscience visited Hoopla I thought like a really long time about what that means for scum! and town! notscience and realized it kind of nets out to zero. So I didn't mind that my crumb might be mistaken for genuine NK spec because clearing him off of it after I died might be wrong anyway.

For Not_Mafia's again it didn't clear him so I would rather shift more towards hiding that I am results crumbing (and look, I survived to this phase in spite of decorating Hoopla's wagon with bells and sequins and only got roleblocked one night). Now that I've been roleblocked, it actually clears him.. all's well that ends well

The RFS crumb is really clear, I told him to "go to notscience's" iso and that I hold him responsible for notscience's death idk how much thicker can I lay it on what do you want "nothing to do with this game but I had a dream about a ninja stabbing notscience with a katana btw I'm vt"??

RfS is probably going to flip not-Roleblocker, confirming that the last scum is a Mafia Roleblocker, and Mafia Ninja Roleblocker is a little wat. This setup is already pretty wat but nsg's tolerance erodes the more the wat-age accumulates.
Ninja in a psychologist setup is also kind of extra bastard because if you base your night action strategy based on which player is the ninja, but that doesn't match the best strategy against the psychologist, it really feels bad. And you're forcing the psychologist to guess who randed ninja instead of guessing who would perform the kill.
It's still not completely impossible but it's better to take the occasional bad beat than to paranoia vote someone with nullish dayplay and super strong mech indicators for being town.
N_M is probably on the townish side of his meta, like Galron said.

I pushed pretty hard but RfS still has a partner so it doesn't hurt to eliminate people who could be that partner. Bella seemed like a viable RfS partner to me.

I thought Surf was 95% accuracy, from playing Gen 1, but that's probably because I used Surf hundreds of times for natural reasons and had more opportunities to observe the Gen1 glitch that gives all moves a 1/256 chance of missing.

My play has already been demonstrated to be superior, because I cleared N_M last night by getting roleblocked. The game was, fmpov "RfS is scum, but now we need to execute in {gera, bob, Bella, N_M, Una} correctly to win the game. Wrongly guessing Bella was a step that had to happen earlier or later in this process. But since I didn't out, I have cheated a step in this process and changed it to find the scum in {gera, bob, Bella, Una} (with bob and Bella dying as natural parts of the process of course)

If I outed it would have stayed the harder problem, find it in {gera, bob, Bella, N_M, Una}

The day that eLo occurs is irrelevant

Normal setups all look unfair to scum on paper but scum wins a lot of them anyway (while in the newbie queue they look fair and then towns always win)

I don't think it's really that balanced for a scumteam to have to weave between psychologist, a tracker, and a follower, no. The investigative roles get too strong as scum are eliminated.

Towns on ms.net like play in a way that makes it so they deserve to lose, though. Galron was lolhammered with no claim this game. notscience skipped a night action. These are huge and impact the balance of the game.

I really hate normals and prefer to play open setups, or I'd rather play a theme because at least it's more openly silly where normals seem to take themselves seriously but then they're silly.
I actually don't think I've rolled scum in a normal but I feel like it'd be infuriating to lose one of these things to a town that skipped all the unforced errors that are baked into the balance of the setups. It seems more gratifying to lose something like white flag.

I made an exception to my normal abstentions for Sujimichi but she left
