Datisi is kind of nervous when he plays scum - he has a lot of self-doubt and worry - he likes to plan things out; I don't think he would confidently interact off the cuff in real time because he's super worried about being caught.

On 3, agree with what you said. Another follow up to that: The self replicating AI will continue to ask better questions and test them, and it would be an unreasonable assumption that what the AIs are up to coincides with human values and interests. However, will the AIs run into ultimate roadblocks in how far they can get due to inherent restrictions in the laws of physics.

And that is when the AI becomes threatening. At least a human can find a “stopping point”, be it brought on by frustration, health, other obligations, human things.

As to where an AI has no reason to stop. Which drops us into the simulation conversation. Are we at the point in the simulation where it can’t figure out the correct homeostasis for the simulation in itself, and instead of resetting. Just throwing more and more problems to contend with to learn how to go about the next one better.

I get reading back through the whole thread is difficult but you've made 50 posts and it feels like a significant number of them have either been off-topic or moaning about there being too many posts, the latter of which doesn't particularly help. "I don't have any specific reads or thoughts because the game is too busy" looks like a convenient way to just avoid having any actual reads, you could've used the time you've spent complaining about this to skim through someone's ISO or whatever.

Okay so here's where I'm at.

STD, Me, Fire, Math, April are all unquestionably off the table as eliminations today.

Galron is semi-clear, but also not really? My understanding is that Galron could also be scum who performed the N1 kill. Nonetheless, I'm not sure that they're a good lim for today.
I could see a world where I support an Eyes elimination today, but I'm cautious because of some paranoia re: fire and I'd rather make the decision on Eyes after another night, if possible.

I strongly townread tene based on play and while I'm open to the possibility of being wrong there I have a really hard time seeing tene as scum!

Then all we have left is Frogster, Scorpious and Cape90. Which at this point is /probably/ not even enough to be the entire scumteam.

I think cape's play makes more sense as scum than Frogster, but obviously there's difference of opinion there. I also don't really think that reasons for townreading Scorpious hold up?

I might go through and do some world-building actually.
