(I am intentionally being quiet except to answer you boon)

VP was being wagoned.

Galron had a sus lurker post

I questioned him on it

He admitted to faking his reads

VP’s defense was horrible

Yeet defends Galron (likely because of the result)

Galron was and is doing his scum meta.

So it’s very much a reads and Galron being silent after admitting to faking reads thing

not exactly. Eyes is the one calling us TvT while Titus is "town leaning" on me but has voted me/stayed voting me b/c my wagon had "momentum" and said she'd vote me over VP

town is evenly split with half calling VP scum and the other half calling me a better flip or silly junk like that.
Oh, I had that wrong. hmm.

Idk, I'll have to find a better way to explain why I town read Titus then.

I just also feel like Math was generally pushing townies, and if Titus is scum, there's no need for her to stop Math, just let them go unless Titus is scum defending scum.

But Math was pushing Galron most of the time.

I need to better understand what happened with Yeet-Galron. Anyone wanna post those for me?
Like for the love of all that’s good please stop this negativity

I was mostly pushing VP then Galron was sus and VP pushed Galron

I will gladly take either one. I think they’re both scum

And until Galron breaks his scum meta I don’t see that changing

This is also in my big post, around Phase 2.

Yeet was a psychologist who investigated Galron N1. He softed in thread, and then Math didn't get it repeatedly, so Nero outted it publicly. Then scum continued to push on Galron because he was close to a yeet, is my opinion.

Yeet dies over night, confirming what was happening yesterday.

Galron is likely the fake inno in a traitor that exists in the hood.

Like the smart play is to elim Cape to prove VP and April a second fucking time

I just kinda want VP scum at this point and am running out of steam continuing to push

The way I see today going is Cape Town

Then I have to push VP on day four

And that’s just gonna be toxic

Or we flip VP and they are town

Then we have to do Nero tomorrow

Like I feel if I pick anything it’s going to be wrong and Math sucks all over again

It’s simple

I am tired of fighting

Tired of the negativity

And just done

So April and VP agree on Cape and it’s in the hood

So it’s pretty much we hit scum in the hood today or prove VP scum.

And April if Cape is town diverted from VP twice

So then it checks them both

Flipping someone rarely proves someone else. You're directing the charge today. Flip who you want. If VP is actually scum, flipping him would be harder. We could leash the vig in this situation. That might be helpful.
Nah I never have had the charge or I wouldn’t have to yell or you’d have been sheeping me rather than anyone else.

Now, I think Cape has a similar amount of equity as scum as VPB/Frog, however, if VPB is scum, I don't think Cape is. If VPB is town, I think Cape is scum.

Tenebrous is almost coming down to POE scum.

I don't really see the point of Frogster saying that line he did as scum with VPB town.

There's likely a scum, 2 if we're living in the Cape scum world, and I think the lower on my 3 townie tiers they are, the more likely they are to be scum. I don't think it's Titus or Fire.

Currently my guess would be the DV slot.
This is Boon’s reads

We can't afford emotional decisions. We're giving you the lim you want in VP. Now is not the time to just shoot people because you're pissed off about how you've been treated in the past. This type of decision undercuts your credibility.

We target scum.

So if VP is scum, we of course shoot me/April. BoP makes sense there.
If VP is town, we should be shooting in my pool please. :/ Listen to me when I'm right.
I don’t have any credibility to undercut

I never win a charisma war against Boon

If Boon is scum forcing them to bus to stay alive is the best play.

Town cannibalizing its loud vocal players strongly indicates pride. Namely, slots are getting scumread because they oppose other vocal townread slots.

How many people contributed to today beyond saying VP is a good/ok elimination? There's far too many players that sat back and let this elimination go through. Scum have no interest in saving VP.

Yes. If I was scum with VP, I'd have him shut up. Reads only give town more to work with. Particularly the rule of 3. If VP is scum here, I'll eat my hat.*

While I disagree with a VP elimination, I know he can't live until elo without a clear. A clear is unlikely to happen with yeet's flip. I'd rather admit I lost the argument and try again tomorrow than drag the town through a screaming match that is likely to fail and demotivate us further without a scumread of my own. In the rare event I am wrong, then I fully expect to be vigged tonight or eliminated tomorrow and I've made my peace with that. I think game health needs VP dead no matter how much I disagree.

I've been inactively lurking. I've been playing with Gerry since his return to the site 2 - 2 1/2 years ago. His RVS vote is nearly always the nth player after his first post (he uses a die). This game he made a vote and then another blind vote without giving any indication why he made that second vote. His initial post usually consists of a number like 8, which means he's going to vote the 8th person after he posts. He didn't do that this game. He voted someone and then blindly voted another. I haven't caught up with his recent stuff so I don't know. The please put some words to that blind vote was an attempt to understand why he voted the way he did.
Who’s Gerry?

Lack of deaths

The SK if one exists has to either intentionally no kill two nights in a row or have their kill blocked twice in a row.
Ikay, that's fine. What's the math on that? I mean, a SK could just as easily targetted the same two as the maf?
16 alive. M mafia alive. 16 - M viable targets for scum to shoot.
15 viable targets for an SK.

So very slim odds. It’s possible but not worth the exact percentage

I think yall need to move past this fight. I don't think another miselim is good today, but my flip will at least show my reads are legit, and maybe you can trust Titus a bit after that. You can figure this out after that
Or we can elim Cape Cape flips Red and you see Titus scum?

there's not enough people willing to see cape/titus for it to go through, i think
I think what’s happening is more a power struggle

Whichever mini clique isn’t getting their way starts being negative

So whichever person I push it will never seem like enough people

Because the people who hate it will rapid post how that elim sucks and so whatever

Let's talk about this one, since you 3 are the ones here.

Do you guys think this is a possible all 4 town on Nero wagon, especially considering a Nero wagon would have been a better misfade for scum than VPB who was just hanging on?

This likely means VPB was a better misfade for scum, meaning one of VPB's pushes were likely correct. VPB's pushes were Nero and Frog.

Frogster's comment saying people were gonna start pairing VPB/Frogster up was odd to me, and it's what really started to get me to feel that way. I read it wrong, but I think feeling the offness makes sense coming from FrogsterScum.

Now, that kind of defense feels eerily similar to a ScumKill on Nero, which had the potential to setup a Frogster/Cape 1v1, which means that the neighborhood could be all town.

I think Frogster has more scum equity than Cape.

Frogster/Enchant/Titus/DV

is my current solve. The further to the back, the less sure I am, but the front 2 feel pretty good for me.
I think swap out Enchant or DV for Cape and this is viable

No way scum don’t have a person in that four player hood with TPR that has flipped

Yeah, I've been having Frogster as the main on my list, and in addition to VPB, I don't think I ever agreed to letting Frog wait 3 day phases until I push there?

And on top of that, I think Titus is going to flip green.
We did your elim two days in a row

It’s my turn as the mason.

You were boped and failed

I don’t. Cape to me is lock scum
Titus defended lock scum.

Cape > Frogger
I don't think so. The way Cape came after me and the way he was with VPB makes me think the neighborhood was all town from non neighborhood reasons.
Cape or Galron is scum

I will never yield on that.

Yes but scum also get a chance to win the game too.

I am pretty sick of making infallible arguments and being ignored with a “but what if you’re wrong” and no effort said otherwise.

I feel so vindicated every mechanical thing I have said via VCA has been true

One scum in Datisi and Wu
Titus was scum
And now if there is a scum in Galron/Cape it’s the trifecta

With how much Titus resisted that I think that’s a given

I just am sure I don’t wanna risk that play today I think because I think it might be either one.

Yes yes Yeet clear I wanna see Galron do more to convince me not traitor or do N1 kill

We know Datisi didn’t do N1 kill and was likely on Enchant both nights then all flips are who scum wanted to kill except one.

Nero was shot by scum

Fair. I was pretty sure Enchant was town after the psychologist flip, and knowing that there was a mafia blocking role (even if 2-shot) kind of cemented it, especially with the x-shot nature of the game. But it's all moot now.

Tangentially, I still strongly think tene is town.
Don’t worry I am forgetful sometimes but sometimes what I don’t say is important

I am happy to talk about April. I've been thinking about Ari's hard buddying of Datisi and Datisi responding that with "I think you might know I'm town and are trying to make me trust you!" (paraphrased), which could be scum-theatre.

The Titus wagon also happened VERY quickly and I wonder how much that had to do with April being the alternate.

I'm not necessarily thinking that April is scum (and I did previously think that April was more likely town) but these are potential talking points going on in my mind.

PEdit: @Math my slightly outdated April read is town. Still working out what I think based on new developments/reconsideration.
I think April is scum.

Malcolm wagon was to assert dominance
VP was BoP and failed

Then when we were working together April had a gut read Titus was town

When is Boon this bad?

Titus was going down that day like I said the prior day. April tried to sell me elsewhere but April burnt all their cred.

im not old enough to get the reference (but i do get it anyway. the final frontier!)

my personal block is me/math/april/std/deas. galron, tene, and scorp are a bit weaker. the other 3 have at least 2 scum in them imo
Yeah this is a bad look imho

Actually looking, I could actually buy that

fire is a bit town based on VC
Scorpius is mega town based on VC

I think Frogster/April/Eyes really could be endgame
Maybe Fire and Galron instead of eyes

I kinda really want April unless April brings a spicy solve though

However, Cape-Froggy have some high equity teaming.

Cape-Froggy I'm probably willing to lock in as scum.
Nah I am pretty comfortable elimming you.

You really contradicted yourself and said tene is town and now tene is possible scum.

The sad thing is I think you might be right and Frogger is scum.

I really don’t like how fire didn’t call you out for this.

I am almost to the point of flipping you and sheeping your reads if you’re town

And if you’re scum the rest in

Fire/Cape/Galron….maybe eyes?

The main issue I have is if I am right and traitor exists this is the last miselim we have.

So as much as I think you’re scum April I am torn between eliminating Frog or you.

I should just be tunneling you because of how wrong you have been

But at the same time I think if you’re scum you know this and give me frog and set up for you and Fire stomp.

I don’t see why you would as town but I see why you would as scum.

But then again that might be play style differences so going to let this sit a bit.

Interesting. And as a mafia rolecop why am I clearing you of all slots? You were the one I'm pivoted to besides frog. Now it would be silly for me to even bring your name up as a lim without a proper case made by someone else.
It doesn't clear me. But if you in fact rolecopped me -- quite reasonable given implications I made earlier -- you would know I could not possibly have acted Night 4.
That's irrelevant. At this point I believe all living players are either scum or VT (aside from Math and myself). I don't think the town has more PRs, so I could have picked anyone else to semi-clear if I was faking.

But I don't think I can change the way you feel about me so I'll concede you have a point in the Nero NK coming after I followed him.
This I think is your mistake if scum.

@Math - My thing with Eyes is, why would they actively make the mistake as scum when they could have just not done anything and avoided it. Cape voting Eyes to only back off once a PR claim looks like Cape being scared of challenging a town PR at this point in the game.

The 4-shot is a really odd thing to claim as scum.

Not saying it's impossible, I still have them for the 3rd slot, but it's not a lock for me right now.

But I do think Cape's scum equity raised heavily after the PR claim, and their actions
I think Cape or Galron are scum yes. Not much has changed there.

@April -> I can’t answer the why yet. I just think someone crumbed something that’s contradictory to eyes claim so I would rather them respond first. Maybe I read something wrong.

If it's Tene, I'd fade tene over Eyes here in an instant. Because Tene was softing by trying to avoid the mass claim, which is super scummy at this point in the game.
Why are you assuming Tene?

Eh, I'll believe this when it's confirmed to have happened. I don't trust anybody's softs right now. I will not be using this in any way shape or form to adjust any sort of Tene read I have.

Hard claims or bust for me.
I find that softs generally are town motivated barring a major plan so I want to wait and see

Fire and one of Cape/Galron maybe Frog.

oh, right, im not really arguing that you shouldn't be followed, just didn't know if you have chosen or not.

plus, normally, i dont see conf townies as being able to be in that position of always being able to read the game correctly, if that makes sense. We all existing in this world, anyone can pull out a case that starts to make the others go "oh damn, that's right." i really shouldnt have said follow the player, that was just shorthand for going follow the player's reasoning. reasoning can be just a line or two because sometimes that's all it is.

i didn't even know we were arguing, im just kinda talkin to talk. i was more being funny, and presentational in the fact that I've accepted my existence in this game heavily is thanks to Fire.
Maybe I am just sensitive because of what Titus was doing and how she shaded me but win or lose I really want people to see the effort I am putting in to be better and shit like that hurts

Then eyes is possibly town and my theory of a CC doesn’t exist.

I am still kind of at
Frog
Fire/April << one or both
Cape/Galron << one or none

I think Frog is the safest but I think use a miselim in fire / April tomorrow after I die. I prefer April.

I have RL if we could hold off until tomorrow after work it would be awesome. I am brain dead

I didn't make it very far because no one town read me and that's the only scum game I've played in years. My play in this game looks nothing like my play in that game which is my only scum game and happened to also be in a large setup with some similar players. I didn't make it past the first day for a reason and it doesn't make sense that you believe based on that game my play here is my scum play.

If you read Bunnies like you're claiming you did, then you would've known that my play this game closely resembles my town game and I've even been in a situation very similar to this recently as town.

In that game MathBlade was clear and tunneled me even though my play made no sense as scum and multiple people believed I was town. Town sheeped his vote even though Math successfully wagoned three or four townies back to back. A parallel to this game where Math attempted to prevent making the same mistakes but now is falling back on old habits.

Town did shit all and started wagoning me and long story short I replaced out, and my replacement Nero Cain killed himself by selfvote in like 40 minutes. He did it because it's so obnoxious to play as town with a clear MathBlade ranting about the virtues of his solve you know is wrong while your mutual townreads go deer in the headlights and eventually vote you out.

I think you're probably scum because you seem to be benefitting from this situation and I don't buy your perspective on my meta, I think it's a half assed excuse to sheep tunneled MathBlade.

I townread Scorpion but Scorpion was scum with me in my only completed scum game which just ended so he should know this isn't my scum game. Scorpion seems to be benefitting from this situation as well and is a much more capable scum player than I am so I think I may have been outplayed a little bit.

There's a lot more solving to be done but I'm not going to do that until MathBlade is dead or I see activity in the thread which indicates my townreads aren't going to sheep his shitty read on me and fire's sketchy opportunistic meta push on me.
If you don’t solve you die
ScumBlade's eloquent performance left me utterly disoriented, debased, depraved and sent me spiraling into a horrific murky abyss with emotional turmoil and immense despair as my only companions until slowly I suffocate in my own gloom, surrounded by failure.
