Fluffposts after saying stop the fluff VOTE: Nero Cain
@Anya your alignment is unclear here, what are you on about?
In post 79, Ivyeo wrote:Fluffposts after saying stop the fluff
what serious conversation is going on right now?!? we may have just found our first enemy.
Very little and that was my point, you said stop the fluff but what you were saying around it didn't stop the jokey enviroment.
Unless you meant like, animal fluff, inwhich case I'm dumb
In post 110, unwnd wrote:I think right now I would give Ivyeo greater benefit of the doubt, we were recently scum together and don't think she'd let herself be that brash

It just felt a bit odd to me. At the time it felt more like a serious post when most everyone else was just posting fluff, but now with the other posts it's almost like... how do I put this... A fluffy-actual game statement?

I'm a bit taken aback you had a negative response to me uh
Feeling alright about your own input
Wait to you? I thought I was still being asked abt the original post, what are my thoughts on being asked for???
In post 131, Chara wrote:Ivy i am unsure of at the moment, i thought Nero's reaction was fine, but unwnd's immediate "i don't think Ivy would be this brash as scum" makes me wonder, i didn't think she was being all that brash. what's Ivy like as scum, unwnd?
We didn't have a full game, but I got the impression that she's far more careful with her words. I don't get the impression that she couldn't
be
brash, but to get herself into some kinda problem this early for no reason when people are just pretending to be animals doesn't seem like something she'd let happen. I felt she was a good partner and fooled a decent amount of people.
This is a pretty apt description of how I played that game, which is the only game on here I've been dealt scum. Was mostly waiting to make a move then just sorta didn't need to? Still pretty new to mafia so willing to experiment, but was pretty careful that game (though part of not posting was also real life just being like "fuck you here's some stress")
for a second i thought u said 'kraken' instead of karen. and i was like "ummm not a huge fan of squid there pooky" lol.
does a karen even taste any good. seems like it would be too salty
In post 318, Toadette wrote:But I'm caught up now and Cakez pointing out the game is bastard which I vaguely remember being a true point from signups has sapped my wim down a bit so I'm out of shrooms for now
It said it isn't *neccesarly bastard* but that the Mod disagrees with most people's ideas of balance and *may* be "bastard"
In post 390, SirCakez wrote:TSQ I'm confused because in the large theme queue you outright said it was bastard
Here was the exact wording, as I repeated earlier
This game, as well as all games I run comes with a general disclaimer that I disagree with the vast majority of mods on this site on what constitutes game balance. I do not promise that this game conforms to your notions of what game design should look like. My games have the potential to be swingy and use elements that some people do not like (cults, jesters, multiball etc.)
This is not to say that anything like that is in this game, but if you prefer sterile mafia games where you can determine the setup from flipping a few roles then this game might not be for you. If you do not like swing in your mafia games this game might not be for you. You have been warned.
It's said that this game has the potential to be bastard, not that it is.
In post 472, Kazyan wrote:Everyone's just joshing around at the moment, so there is no one to capture anyone's hearts. I'll probably review the unwnd/Fark thing later, but for today, this game has an incredibly low content-to-pages ratio and it's not actually worth the effort to try to distill anything out of it.
trying to get workable content out of the fluff is the quickest way to get out of that phase of the game, though.
Exactly, if we ignore the fluff what do we have to go off of... more fluff??

If by talked about me you mean left a naked vote then eyerolled when asked to explain (though ik that last part was a joke) then ig you've talked about me
In post 509, Andante wrote:I think at least 1 scum is in the "I hate all this content" cause scum has to follow along with it, town can skim, say they won't back read, so what, ask someone for a TLDR later, like, yeah
Many ISOs to review to figure out who said they hate this content then. Here gooooes
I was trying to drill-sargenty and "insulting" the mod that knew I was fucking around was something that I could do to continue my flavor play without hurting anyone's feelings. I lowkey think its a scum play to try to be a savior and call out injustice and thats sorta what I feel like you were doing there.
That was not at all meant to be taken seriously, otherwise I would ahve put far more than "rude"
In post 872, Anya wrote:andante is a shining example of town i have a wagon vigilante shot and everyone on the andante wagon gets shot tonight if it happens
tbh scum is statistically likely to hop on my wagon. scum wants me to shut up and stop posting, what better way than to vote!
This post irks me, Adante is aknowledging their lack of content without actually giving content.
In post 847, kdowns wrote:I don't know if this has been really communicated but I would be inclined to believe that there are two scum teams? Since It's Dogs vs Cats and the Town roles are neither of those.

Pedit: yeah, i townleaned norwee and when i pedited and saw cakez i liked it more
i would like to see Andante do more contentposting given her position right now, i don't find the exaggerated reaction to the votes to be very useful.
There';s a lot here, and I don't have the time tonight to give full thoughts, so I'll just kinda give something to let you all know where I'm at.
Top Town: Unwnd, Anya, Cakez (though I disagree with things such as them saying me trying to reduce the info take in is scummy), and Flea who's thought processes I've mostly agreed with
I'd be willing to go for the meta push here, but I'd like to sort both Adante and Farkran. Farkran in paticular has had a few good posts and plenty of "meh" ones, which leaves me conflicted.
P-edit: I wrote this a few hours ago and forgot to hit send ;.;
p-editx2: wdym distract people whilst we chops down your threehouse?
In post 1562, Nero Cain wrote:it IS her first large and maybe I could understand her being overwhelmed by the biggest game she'd played in but then I do feel like her being super active early game and then falling off the face of the earth once things got serious is a Lil scummy.
I'm much more okay with this phrasing than you refering to my earlier statement of not wanting to go bhack through the fluff was.
In post 1439, unwnd wrote:The best to know you is yourself. That's true for everyone. Defending yourself is not inherently scummy and it gives perspective
I've been thinking about this one. Like, I know what my scum tells are in Among Us--I overreact in defending myself and I gave too much info, e.g. nobody cares about what kind of burger I was making in the task; they just wanted to know where I was. But my writing voice is significantly different from my on-the-spot speaking voice, so I don't know how well those things translate. I curate my posts as scum in order to look like I have natural town reactions, but I also self-edit a lot as town in order to express my thoughts as clearly as possible; I'm on the sixth+ version of this sentence you're reading.
that's probably why you read as unnatural sometimes
you should just post your first draft every time and we'll see it for its unedited organic towny beauty
In post 1721, Nero Cain wrote:you can rejoin it, I guess I just don't really like the Shiro vote. It concerns me that both counter wagons to Andante of be lurkers (bee and shiro) both are real null and easily scapegoatable.
Even though I was never really a Fan of the Adante Wagon, I have to agree
In post 1757, Andante wrote:I mean, I think your whole "case" on me is just flat out bad. It all stems from me calling you scum after you had like 2 posts, and I'm the only person you've even looked at since then...
You couldn’t be more wrong though. While I first saw your attack on me as opportunistic. It’s just been more clear with how quickly you jumped wagons, as a way to distract from the wagon that’s already on you.
was all kind of bad and misinformation filled.
The fact that Shiro was ready with all of this for when questioned makes me think Shiro is very likely town here, the quote makes it feel more throughout to me
In post 1869, xofelf wrote:Shiro: There's not much in here, not really. But timezones can really fuck you. I don't really see the people calling this scum though. Feels like a super reach, they're no more scummy than a lot of the other slots that aren't posting much(which sure some of those could be lurking scum) but this doesn't feel like trying to fly under the radar or anything, but rather just trying when the time exists to do so. I don't see it. I do like the readspost they made. I just have a very genuine trying vibe to this slot, not overly compensating or just doing enough to be forgotten. It's all doing what they can manage.
I've been asking for a case on Shiro, but have received nothing. It's odd to me that the wagon appeared of nowhere with nothing obviously (imo) backing it, just a "yeah this seems like a good wagon, why not" vibe, and I think...maybe that's +town for people who jumped onto it? Like, why would scum just look at a wagon based on nothing with 1 or 2 votes and go "this is the least suspicious place to put my vote". We should review the Shiro wagon later.
Alright, done rereading and add Shiro to my TRs,
Looking at Norwee as the biggest wagon, their response to being wagon'd is the only thing that pinged me in their ISO. Things like calling their wagon crappy, and just kinda discrediting it instead of looking for scum on it just doesn't feel like a towny mindset VOTE: Norwe
