Are you playing to get three scum in the same game? I assume you TR both Ari and Tanner, and you were trying to get Tanner and myself in with you in the Keep.

Forgive me btw. I just assumed scum would be avoiding getting stacked together, so playing to try and lock 3 scum together seemed like a pointless endeavor to begin with, but people are pushing it anyways.

Im actually coming to the opinion that the best course of action is to keep my reads close to my chest until I see who I'm paired with.

I did not think about the lower number of flips from the Gate. I suggested gate first because of the IC sticking around, and they could focus on each game as it came up

Wouldn't resolving the game that will give the most associatives after flip be the best to resolve first?

I'm not sure which game that would be, but I would think having the most associatives to use on the subsequent games would be the way to play.

Which of those groups do you think has 2+ scum in it?
I'd rather have numberQ and DArby together.
I think if we had VP - me - you, that could be all town and force scum to swap in.

I havent really cared about scum clumping since we already have two locked in. I also am fine with putting Darby and number together.

That's a joke of course. I'm just not really picky on where I should be.

I think someone asked how good we are in MeLo, and to that I'd have to say as town, I'm a bit brazen and fail a lot. I maybe have a 30-40% success rate, but it's because I have no patience and I think I am very susceptible to AtE and WIFOM. As a result, I try to go with my gut, which doesn't always work out. I think VP Baltar and Luke have both seen recent games of me in MeLo.

The reason I was keeping my reads close is because I suspect scum would either be trying to buddy a player they anticipate being with early, or paint that person as scum if they know they are playing with them.

I don't know the right way to play this game during setup, but I wanted to avoid being made a pawn by someone else.

At this point, I'm just checking the thread regularly to see if progress is being made towards teams. I'm getting kind of bored with the setup, and mostly just looking to play some elo. I didn't give much thought to how much wim people would have during setup lol.

I think The Wall should resolve right away. I think both imaginality and Baltar have given at least a few stances that serve as associatives to do the Gate and the Keep.

Tanner becoming an IC is good, and better than various scenarios I was thinking of happening.

I kept my reads close because I was certain Luke was buddying me early on with their encouragements to join the Keep and town reading me. Almost half the players in the game are scum and I didn't want to give them anything to work with.

Going into today, I didn't have much in the way of scum reads, I was playing as I usually do and trying to figure out town reads first. Tanner and imaginality we're early town reads, I think. I can't remember the game state since last week. I think I also liked Baltar, but no one got swapped there, so I'm wrong somewhere. I thought the Wall was going to have a swap.

My assumption for The Gate was that we were the unsorted and most likely to have 2 scum. I didn't like numberQ yesterday they kept making pushes as me scum early, and then again at day start today. I don't recall implosion's play yesterday, but I do recall them being mostly town read.

I'm currently leaning scum were already 1/1/1 in the games, and Darby was probably moved to The Keep for chaos purposes.

I think The Wall should resolve first, and we go from there.

My original assumption was it was all town at your location. The fact that no one shifted from there LEDs me to the more likely scenario of 1/1/1

I don't see how fake voting makes for more accountability. We're all supposed to be giving reads about the other games anyway (which I've been bad about for the Gate to be fair). This feels like scum coming up with something that appears +town at first glance but really doesn't mean anything in the end. It'd be so so easy for scum to "vote" each other and look good without any real risk if we do this.

@numberQ, have you thought I was scum since before Day 1 ended? The impression I was getting from you was you were setting me up as scum once the teams were scheduled by Baltar. I very rarely ever saw you talk about the possibility Darby might have been scum prior to the swap, and I don't think you've entertained implosion other than as wifom discussion from the swap.

@everyone, if I continue to feel like crap tomorrow, I'm probably going to need to request a replacement in fairness for people expecting a bit more WIM attitude from my slot.
