Zombie Dice is an aggressively simple push your luck game. There are 13 dice in a cup, 6 easy green ones, 4 medium yellow ones, and 3 hard red ones. Each die represents a survivor. You are a zombie trying to get to 13 brains. Each turn you roll 3 dice, and get either a brain, a runner or a shotgun. And a choice, stop and bank my brains, or keep going and take more random dice from the cup which you reroll along with your runners. But get to 3 shotguns and you lose it all. I'm curious to watch Dongempire. Part of the review thread discussion covered the idea the informed town should spill the beans ASAP, and it helps stop the miller be vig bait - but Dong has claimed neither, at least yet. I'm wondering if the mafia claim is to do with the role or just a thing Dong does.

I doubt shelly is gonna stop death tunnels after she learns pooky and Ydrasse is right

I think bob is really astute about the wagons. My informed read is scum derail the tunnel, and then some town weigh in and agree and now people are waiting for the next thing to show up. One thing shelly was doing was pulling town out of RVS.

I know people talked about not hyperposting this game but it feels very slow for what was a bunch of hyped players.

Also I should put my reasoning behind how I handled AG and osuka et. al. in here at some point soon while it's still fresh

I did not expect to wake up to that elim. And with minimal co-ordination through scum thread too.


My reasoning on arachnidsGrip, osuka etc.

My primary goal here is to minimise replacements for the sake of enjoyment/game stability. If multiple people are complaing that it's hard to read, there are probably more struggling who aren't saying anything. Osuka had expressed he was considering replacement and I was concerned that more people might replace. I was concerned to avoid this if AG refused to alter her posting style that after consulting with implosion it might be necessary to implement a style rule that she would have to follow or be replaced. AG agreed to alter her style for game relevant posts which I think is fair.

The whole situation felt a bit "above my paygrade" for me - weighing potentially making a statement on someone's identity and an accessibility argument which I know is correct, even if, as has been said in other threads, it is sometimes made in bad faith. I just hope I found a solution that works to maximise game enjoyment, and want to again thank ducky for all his advice and encouragement to my non-existant confidence!

Also, I don't rate Flavor Leaf's survival chances - killing a player with a reputation in a town slot that has said nothing seems like high kill equity to me

FL has said he might shoot Gamma Emerald instead and the mafia still aren't sure what to do with the doc (I think the site meta of action investigatives over role/alignment investigatives is biting them a bit) but at the moment I'm not sure I see how the Mafia win from waking up with TGP dead on day two.

Any thoughts on the game state ducky? You've played way more than I have (I really should fix that once I know what my mental block is on playing)

Between replacements and a lot of changes for the mafia actions this has been as surprisingly busy night, wonder if anything else will have happened before deadline. I am kinda proud I asked the innocentvillager replacements if they wanted to reconsider based on the change in game state because I feel validated in spotting the high kill equity there - I didn't want someone to replace in, read up and die without realising it was a possibility

The answer is yes if a) the partner agrees, b) they can justify why it's not a game throw and c) why are you having to ask this again?

in this case the mafia doctor couldn't be a JOAT because the role name isn't doctor

it could have been a mafa Doctor ROLEWITHGUN who has to choose their action each night, or even a combined who has to sacrifice protecting their partners for the info, it just isn't cos it goes against the design philosophy I had for this set up

GATED combined doctor invest seems like an interested conundrum to give scum in another game

Like I'm super paranoid of some Johnny next level scum play, but like, I can't even think of a tinfoil for it.

this is the situation i'm referring to. and from my perspective, if town loses this it's because we have focussed on mechsolving rather than scumhunting. In a normal scenario, Johnny is an easy flip. We'll see, I'm just going on the record now so I can save face if we lose. but if you're right, a win is a win, and gratefully received.

Yeah, I'll probably never mass claim again if this is the case.
