eh I thought there was something in Civ's scum PT that covered what I'm about to cover but I guess not.
All of the post mentioned below kinda give me the feel that when mastina figured out that Mark was indeed MathBlade, she then changed her approach to the slot and told Yume to attempt to gaslight Math. I remember this specificly being the approach she wanted Jae to use on Math in Civ so I figured she would attempt it again (or atleast tell Yume to make an attempt to attempt it) in the event her guess was correct.

Phos is Yume.
Yume is an amazingly strong scum player.
I think the more she hydras with Mastina the better town player she becomes.
Like if the strength of a Mastina/Yume hybrid manifested itself it'd have the right to brag about it's torn muscle shirt from all the strength.

As for RR, the patented Phosphophyllite test is that unless they bring actual read to the main thread, you hang them and you look happy doing it. Not into any PTs alone. Into the main thread. You cannot fail in this way.

OTM, it's been almost a year since I last played mafia. I don't have the time I used to have available to play. It has altered my play style, unfortunately in a scummy direction. That being said, I'm all good with being the D1 lynch. OTM and Mastina/Yume are certain I am scum. All of them are extremely stubborn and do not readily admit to being wrong. Therefore they will scum read me for the rest of the game which is something scum will be able to use later should I live very long.

Cerb, thanks for showing me the post on the 8 planes. I was concerned you were covering for Bee Boy. Right now I'm thinking this might be town RR. But I would really like to see Drixx post.

pre-edit: We were in a PT during that game and I used it to my advantage as scum. It made me feel like shit but it's what I had to do to help my team win.

Good God, lots has happened here when I got sick.

I find it interesting that where so many people are townreading or townleaning Venmar, A50 in 1053 says he is scumreading him instead. Personally, I don't get the townreading of him, but I don't know that there's been enough to scumread.

1057 by Iconeum is not a great case but it's something, then he seems to back down from his argument without really backing down from his read in 1060 unless I am misreading it, odd.

1090 is just MC pointing out the weird town read on a mostly quiet slot. I've called out reads like that as scummy in the past and still don't love it here. As Kiana somewhat called out right after, 1105 is just baffling to me.

1116 is not good. I mean, not necessarily a scum thing but just bad posting.

1117 on the other hand is a good question which was dodged in 1119.

1120 is more good discussion from OTM.

1127 is a good point.

Guess this will be post 1 in my catch up from Lumia's last meaningful post because my last was almost 40 pages ago and his thoughts reflect my thoughts then.

1130 has all these posts I'd like to talk about, associative arguments are something I think may be a bit shallow and less than useful before a flip. We can create ideas of associations before a flip, but until we know what alignment a player is, the associations are purely speculation, I find. If someone would like to explain to me that I'm wrong, please do, but I just don't know how useful it is to discuss them day 1.

1132 also shows that associations are not that great when the opposite association.
