Hmm. Maybe it is newbish. It could be, but at the same time, on top of the scumread I already have, unreliable as though it may be, this seems to fit the pattern. Maybe it's confirmation bias...

Things are barely ever done for just one reason. I kind of have a bias against voting which subconsciously might have played a role. After rvs, I tend to only vote for pressure or when I positively feel someone should be today's lynch, that is to say, I have a high degree of confidence they're actually scum. That hasn't happened so far, and I didn't feel like pressuring Rei would have done anything at that point, as I wasn't actively interrogating her.
If I do things for more than one reason, don't you think I should mention those other reasons if they're relevant?

Okay.
Upon a second pass I acknowledge the possibility of it being newbish. However, the scumread I already have seems to fit the pattern of Rei's posts.

Confirmation bias here means that it's possible that I'm reading her posts as scum because I think she's scum. Perhaps if I didn't think she was scum to begin with newb would seem more obvious.

Pattern I'm talking about here is that I've come to expect of scum that they try to dodge questions and have a kneejerk reaction when pressured moreso than town. I get the dodge questions feeling from 35, and the ensuing reaction to my offhandedly mentioning it as scummy seems disproportionate. Too much kneejerk, which I'm inclined to read as scum. 62 feels more town in that regard, so that read is shaking a bit but it's still there for the time being.

Right now Shattiel feels especially Town to me. I don't think scum would push so hard on Ejji in a situation like this.

You could just rephrase "overanalyzing" to "nitpicking" or being overprotective. He doesn't really need to overanalyze two words you could even pour some wine on his reasons why soul's posting is nai but if he did it to push the game forward I get it.

I understood it more as him being overdiligent and trying to seriously analyze a post he himself didn’t even understand. I did that a lot as town in my first games, but I started cutting it out when I realized people aren’t even reading it... -_- I think I already said sth about it.

I should probably clarify here, those were 2 separate things.
1. I was asking for clarification on the "oh hey" because it seemed like an odd way to accuse someone of something.
2. I questioned schadd's reasons for scumreading soul. Which Schadd didn't actually answer yet. So...

Why wouldn't he? If he's used to doing that it might be a great way to gain towncreed.
and like, if he was going to explain himself with pressure-checking anyways, there would be no risk involved.
