i really can't. you can have fun in games without being a power role. we had fun in Purgatory and that didn't have any.

it's disappointing and i don't even know if it's scum. at the same time Kiana is one of my better guesses for red scum, and i don't really like any of her explanations for being apathetic.
giving one read is also not an unreasonable thing to ask, and the fact she can't explain one scumread (and hadn't even when she still seemed into the game) looks like it's just going through the motions.
blaming other players for being lurky to avoid doing anything herself, too.
i don't know if i'm buying Ran's explanation a little more because i can see he actually does care about the game (if he's scum there's also reason to care) but i got more of a sense that despite his inability to play at the moment it might change at some point in the future. or i just got different vibes from it.

i don't like Ranmaru's lack of play either, but comparing the two i prefer Kiana. Ranmaru at least appears to plan to read later, and he's not making excuses about the gamestate (scum deaths = apathy?) for his laziness. (hurt hand notwithstanding) i can see that creating laziness, and i was worried about that, but Kiana doesn't give the impression of laziness. i think she's just upset her team is gone.

Maybe it's just me but I'm willing to allow a hurry have slide a bit for Ran, though not a long leash, but during my first game there was a snowstorm in New York, much like today, and I fell and hurt my arm. Typing was a nightmare for a few days after that

The reason why I joined this game only to play with you and Titus and a bit of Varsoon. Now, since I realized that playing this game isn't very necessary. So I am very bored of this game.

Also if mafia don’t want kiana to ends up clear they will have to claim VT to cc her, and that is good too since 1v1 etc, a single vt claim is useful in an apparent role madness

Yes, but we dont know that. Even if only 3people ends up claiming VT its good, maybe if we lynch kiana no one will ever claim VT for the rest of the game. I think that a single VT can be a”named” VT, the only thing that contradicts that theory is the IC which compete for basically the same role (an IC is a named VT).
Anyway, i still think massclaiming could win us the game extremely fast but it wont happens because

Also you have to realize that forcing a vt claim from mafia is good because then they cant explain the visist if caught etc, anyway we will only know later on if im correct

i'm against massclaim for today. i don't think we know enough about the setup. claiming early makes sure mafia is locked into whatever lie they give (assuming they don't claim their real role), but it also makes it difficult to catch them later because it outs all of the PRs. i don't think it can be broken with massclaim yet. this is exactly the kind of thing i worry about when seeing early scumflips. we're only about half done. :>

Better questions: what do more VT claims tell you about Kiana? Why would anybody claim it for no reason just because she did?

CCs work on PRs because there are rarely 2 of the same in one game. And even for a PR claim it is not always correct to counterclaim because the original claim might have been done by scum specifically to expose the info.

I was, but his inactivity and disinterest make me think he won't be much help even if he is Town, and knowing ranmaru he'll probably SR everyone at one point or another and WILL get lynched for it anyway.
