eh im against massclaim- sure lots of info's out there, but the game's still young, and theres still (probably) 3 scum to go. Dont see reason to potentially out more roles, esp since the revealed roles looks like they either do nothing (religion), or are challenging to play around like joda's inventor, joey's commuter, and gamma's joat.

setup spec is also not my strong suite, but i do think it's difficult to tell that until we see the full setup. a strongman would easily counter those protectives. i wouldn't be surprised to see scum with access to a protective but at that point i would still think it's better to use reads and role use rather than pure spec.

pedit: i'm not sure if Joda's role is random or predetermined. the second would be the same mechanically but way easier to balance.

i think there are like 4 players who haven't claimed.

also massclaim will just make the game devolve farther in the setup speculation rabbit hole, which is amazingly easy for scum to hide in, as i learned in a couple games.

Yes. I think it's logical to infer that whatever bu was saying at the time scum defended him worked well with the scum winconditions.
