We're looking into resolving the ads not linking properly. We had to rush to roll this out & apparently the agency we are working with sent everything over in an incorrect format. I had set this up to err on the side of caution and link back to the current page if the URL is malformed, which they all apparently are.

As for obtrusiveness, I agree they look a little obnoxious but we are actually considering making them a little bigger for a few months so we can outsource game signup automation & roll it out by end of year.
