Quick: assuming Nero is town, from a scum Hopkirk pov i'd call it an attempt at buddying/getting Nero to ease up on the scumread. but it could also be a genuine opinion from town Hopkirk.
i mean, players are allowed to townread Nero for things besides meta. is it that the read is too early in general?

Yeah.. that it was so early. That's part of what contributed to me thinking about the hood idea with the people in it that I mentioned earlier with Nero and Hop being in Ausuka's top 5 TRs.

i've given up trying to catch up. the little i have seen form ausuka seems scum motivated.

I tend to really overestimate a players Scum game who I think have a good Town game if I haven't seen their Scum game before *shrug*

Basically. On page 46 I had supposedly said I agree with Quick that Grey was "too scummy to be scum." I mean its there so I can't really deny it but I don't ever remember ever town reading Grey. I started to hard scum read Grey around the 50's since I felt like Grey's "why me=fry me" is surface lvl and potentially opportunistic. Quick then points out that had agreed with him on page 46 and thus it was a contradiction that I'm now hard scum reading him. His claim is that I'm scummy for this 'cause I can't change how I read someone or some such.

yeah grey's "why me fry me" thing is a weak push in general. Comes off as town though. more times than not i see "top tier personality" players give absolutes as far as alignment play style goes. such as town always, town never...
