Someone make a Darkest Dungeon Mafia, because I legally cannot.
Andrius ran a Darkest Dungeon setup awhile ago that was designed to be run as a part of a series of games.
Don't think he ever ran the next one, but each game would focus on a single Dungeon from the game.
Was pretty neat.
Actually as cool as this sounds, it would have been fantastic to sort of lift the chalice dungeons from your Bloodborne setup; the town votes on a team of 4 players to go on an expedition into one of the 5 dungeons; certain roles could fare better in certain dungeons (an Occultist wrecks the cove or crusader excels in ruins for example, but a plague doctor doesn't do well in the Warrens); defeating a dungeon yields rewards; each one as certain detriments (Warrens cause disease, darkest dungeon outright kills people or something)
And so on

Thanks, mspaint sad arnold had to get shelved for my old school dean at some point
I'm thinking about running a game based on the James Bond novel "Casino Royale". If that turns out to be fun, I have some ideas for continuing the series of games.

Any interest?
I might even be interested in Co-Moding it with you. Don't know if you are open to that, but I appreciate the theme given I have made "spy themed" games in the past. My games were flavorless, but still had a theme revolving around the manipulation of information.
I was anything worse than you! Anything worse than you was I!
You was doided teh aposit_tisopa het dedoid saw em.

Uhhhm.....yeah that's all I've got, nowadays I play that and dead by daylight and I don't think that really works
for dbd I guess you could theme it so the killers are towns, trying to win by searching for survivors and sacrificing them, who would be the mafia.
....I never actually thought about the fact that the survivors couldn't lynch the killers since thematically they can't do anything to them. It also wouldn't make sense for them to not be the mafia faction since theres 4 of them which is perfect team size.
At the same time all of the survivors have perfect town roles (doctor Claudette, 1-shot bullet proof David, etc) but I guess it could be reworked the other way around?
Hey, this is really early considering that my first open has not even filed up yet, but, I had an idea and I want to see if there's interest. Would there be a market for American Presidential mafia?
Basically, it takes advantage of my college studies of the American Presidency, and each person gets a president.
I've only made one good post, and don't you dare accuse me of doing it again.

Someone had a similar idea I think but yeah that sounds like fun

Just do me a favor and focus on historical POTUSs rather than recent history? Ford or Carter and earlier. No need to provoke divergent opinions on recent presidents.

I was thinking the latest would likely be Reagan, even that might be too late. No way in hell would I add any of the last 3.
That's actually specifically why I am not going to make it a uPick.

I'd say Nixon-Ford-Carter are the most recent whose administrations have settled firmly into history. Reagan is respected by many on both sides of the spectrum, but his legacy is still debatable. I could (but won't) argue either side about him. The prior three? Not as much.

Considering a mini theme on the Rick and Morty, filled with crude and nihilistic flavour.
Still in conceptual phase, but the game would be role heavy and swingy.
Was thinking of an interesting mechanic where an invention with a one-shot power is available per day, to be compulsively used that night. This power might have both good and bad side-effects ... like most of Rick's inventions.
Unfortunately, most people are too basic to use Rick's inventions properly so this would be probably result in: a slightly different effect (e.g. chance of self-destruction or unintended outcomes) when used by a non-Rick. Players would someone vote on how who to get to use the invention for the day, in addition to voting for the lynch target. Of course, since there are multiple universes, there are multiple Ricks, and at least some of them are evil.
Comments on the above? Ideas on mechanics, new or aforementioned? Anyone wanna help review? Not sure when I'll have a first draft - but someone to bounce ideas off during the process would be lovely.

What if you knew way more about the game state Day 1?
Sounds interesting but pls no spoilers cos I've only watched I few episodes of the first season and I want to go through it clean (even though I have already seen a probably inconsequential episode from a later season with my sister, who got me interested in the show)
