It was a slog but seriously, what a fucking accomplishment.
Huge playerlist.
A mix of unique new original challenges sprinkled in with some old ones.
Brisk game design that resulted in constant feeling of freshness (very important in a game this large).
And they managed to handle problems that arose in fair ways without dragging the game down.

I want to say One World should have won but any game that lets you take care of baby is too good for this world

I'm gonna make my acceptance speech in a new post that doesn't get lost

I'm honored to receive this award, School Survivor was the last Survivor game that really felt like

my

baby (stomach), and we went all-out with trying to make it a fun and unique game. From the way we hid idols, to the swaps, it was a fun ride. There were certainly some flaws, and the merge ended up being a giant majority alliance that never seemed to fracture as a result. Because of this, I do believe that One World ended up being a more exciting game, and it was certainly a more unique one with the way communication was radically different than any other game! Regardless, I think hiplop and Flameaxe and I are still very proud of the work we put into designing School. I hope people take notes from both School Survivor and One World on how to do things

It was more that everyone was united against Dan and/or Dick through the merge and the person with the least connections was voted out every round when Dick/Dan were immune. The Penny and Tracy votes were huge though!

and like people like cameron left despite being super connected. One alliance were in control but they were thwarted over and over again by weird shit. Really exciting tribals almost every round etc
