Well, in this case, a few reasons
1) Given I had Maria on my lynch pool and enough town cred to push a lot of things eventually, especially with my role, why would I ever make Maria confirmed town as scum? It makes ZERO sense.
2) My role is one that can become easily provable given how it interacts with other roles by obligation, so lying literally does not work. There are better roles to lie about.
3) I'm literally a claimed power role who is currently a hard cop in the board state, this discussion is one to be had if I'm somehow alive... say..... 5 days from now, as opposed to right now.
