Down from 41 to ~20 with 1 scum hit? I think we're looking at roughly 50/50 scum numbers at this point. In post 100, Ramcius wrote:did we lost already?- Ramcius

2 scum hit and we confirmed multiball - Grits and Munitions as scum teamsIn post 101, Sando wrote:

29 v 6 v 6 isn't likely with so few scum kills, so i'd say we still have majority, but it looks really grim- Sando

Snarky was Grits traitor, NM Munitions goonIn post 103, Sando wrote:Ah I missed the second scum hit, but yeah those numbers don't seem unreasonable, 2 scumteams confirmed yeah?
Still, doesn't that leave it at 10 v 5 v 5?
well, kills are 19 v 1 v 1, so either town is really bad at shooting or numbers for scums are pretty low- Sando

If scum numbers are low they says they have "protection" like BP though yeah? They still haven't had a BP flip town afaik. Any townies flipped strongarm? It's almost like they should have instituted a system to stop people randomly shooting to answer these questions or something...In post 104, Ramcius wrote:well, kills are 19 v 1 v 1, so either town is really bad at shooting or numbers for scums are pretty low- Ramcius

It's almost like scums used protection circle to not get shot while town was killing each otherIn post 106, Sando wrote:

You can't have discussion in 41p game, it would be madness, especially when people joined game to shoot each other, not to try solve setup-

Yeah, honestly the PRICKS thing is going to cause a lot more issues than anything.
I'm genuinely surprised you weren't.

Scum have no reason to shoot unless they're about to be shot.In post 78, Ankamius wrote:Taly, there's a reason the lolshots are both on and flipping town.
Effort is NAI when you can be lolkilled for just looking at someone wrong.
Scum are among those that haven't shot yet, those hiding behind the block, and coasters.
Scum have every reason to try to look as town as possible.
So, of course everyone who was shot for lolshooting is town (barring not_mafia, who would do that as either faction). Why wouldn't they?
If I was scum, of course I'd hide behind the 'townblock' and try to effort up as much as possible. That's literally a free incentive to not be lolshot.
Of course some people don't do that as scum, so they are coasting too. I imagine a chunk of these people who don't have strong reads on them are scum as well, but these are the ones that are going to get culled anyways.
The reason town is probably going to lose this game is because people are wrongfully cleared.-

Scum are playing to their win condition, town are not, it's fairly simple. Lolshooting is a towntell, but it's not helping town win, and as you say, scum aren't going to loshoot, so the only way to even the odds is to get town to stop lolshooting. In post 110, Ankamius wrote:Scum have no reason to shoot unless they're about to be shot.

Are you implying PRICKS was attempting to townblock? I said maybe a dozen times that it's NAI at best.In post 110, Ankamius wrote:The reason town is probably going to lose this game is because people are wrongfully cleared.
Only people who were pretty much universally seen as town was Taly, me and Creature, and oh look 2 of those have flipped town. Wrongful clears don't really seem like they're hurting town so much...-

Town isn't playing to their win condition because they're trying to enforce an unenforceable system. In post 113, Sando wrote:

People are going to shoot because it'sSMARTto have a hair trigger in this game. It's smart to blow your kill on a scumread if you believe someone is looking to shoot you. If you're pretty certain you're not going to survive, then it doesn't matter if your target is part of a club that retaliates shots.
All that the system really does is provide a fake cushion against being shot. Scum are going to be looking to get into that block because they're going to be much more safe since less people are looking to shoot them. So in all actuality, town's real win condition is to set that up and then destroy it if it's used at all, because treating it like a townblock is asking for town to lose.-

What are we talking about here, lolshooting or town playing smart, cause it can't be both. The entire point of the block is to get the discussion we're currently having, happening in game, and get people actually playing smart and being read off that rather than everything being a lolshoot. In post 115, Ankamius wrote:People are going to shoot because it's SMART to have a hair trigger in this game.
I dunno how many times it needs to be said...the block is not a townblock or even a towntell. In post 115, Ankamius wrote:because treating it like a townblock is asking for town to lose-

You don't have to shoot via consensus, that was something Taly advocated that I was happy to go along with, but there's plenty of ways to do it, including just letting people shoot with reasoning etc. Literally the only thing it's supposed to cut out is lolshooting. In post 119, Ankamius wrote:So you can try to organize things, but ultimately the people that are going to support only shooting based on the consensus is never going to be realistically able to eliminate everyone else before there's not much left to have a consensus on.-

How does it "get dominant"? The 'rules' have no bearing on people outside the block shooting outside the block. In post 118, Ankamius wrote:The moment you get to the point where that's dominant... you're probably already looking at a scum win.
