Fair enough. But you still haven't explained any of them and it's not like they're the kind of quotes that go without explanation - sure the first and second are pretty bad I guess, and the third and fifth are a little dodgy, but I don't even get what you're saying is wrong with the fourth and last. It hardly needs an essay, just something there.

flipping and slipping mean two different things here. Like, both words hold significant meaning in a game of mafia. Even I had to read it twice and I thought to myself "Wait, what was I talking about?" So I have to wonder if Lovebird didn't just ISO me looking for dodgy things out of context.

There are not many role modifiers. I am a townie with a certain number of BP shots which is making me worry there probably aren't many townies with BP/SM modifiers. :/

Probably there aren't that many; they seem really powerful. (Another reason I think random is scum.)

I'd bet that any strongmans would be town though. And it's right for them to not out yet.

Urgh, I'm NOT saying that the list should be private. I'm saying that the list should be public and settled on.

I'm ALSO saying that the list being public may create some unintended consequences that I haven't thought of, and that should mean the entire list idea should be scrapped.

I'm not advocating a private list, I'm saying a public list might not work, in which case NO LIST is best.

That makes complete sense. Forcing someone to forfeit or be shot might be a good tactic in some situations still. Not sure what they are though.

If I were scum with not_mafia, I would be careful to put him somewhere on my list, if only as a null. I know leaving people draws attention to them.

I want people who are scumreading me to reconsider what I said, because I still stand by that:
Overexplaining your motivation in this particular game (where most signed up for memes and shizzle) is a scumtell. Especially early on in this game, there is literally no need for that, and only scum would want to cover up their 'misfire'. If a town was actually interested in discussion and information, they'd talk before shooting. Not while shooting.

Since my main reason for Arcwing being on my shoot list, was his complete lack of usefulness, I'm for letting his replacement show up.

Stefan's list about not_mafia associations seems sound enough. Even the point about me was basically factual. I was however not intending to defend him, but just trying to understand why he should die.
Most of who he says cannot be scum with not_mafia are town read by me (and many others). Momrangal is the only exception, but still a valid point. If she's scum, she's probably GRITS not the other one.

Props to those who are treating this like an actual game, but there are still far too many people alive for me to do this properly.

the non-traitor members of the non-town factions will know how many traitors their faction has. each night, each non-town faction will receive a kill to be performed by one of the non-traitor members; if they target one of their own traitors with this, that player will instead be converted to a non-traitor member. during the day, kills happen one at a time (meaning that if someone else has submitted a kill, you can't submit another one until the first role flips).

From post zero in the signuptread. Some of the rules also hint at the night.

Can we just start shooting all the BP's? There's like 99% chance of hitting scum (or traitor) in there. Did anyone make a list of all BP so far?
If not, i'll get to that tomorrow.

Once listed we can order them from scum to town, and start killing the scumplayers on that list.

@StefanB Thanks. I knew there was some mention of a night phase, but wasn't sure beyond that.

BPs are Momrangal, Random Midget, Srceenplay, and the Worst. Given that I read the Worst as town, I put chance of hitting scum when shooting BPs at no more than 75%.

Has anyone here played with the Worst? I played Everyone is a Serial Killer with him, but that's probably the worst place to gain an impression of someone's play. Not that I know anyone else better or have done research on anyone, but I feel slightly biased.

Referencing a non-mafia game (it was mish mash) to compare an actual game of mafia is the worst.
I also townread the worst.
