Scum could have powerful roles. Or, nico and mastina still just gambiting.In post 2828, OnTheMark wrote:From a balance point why four masons and other roles especially positive utility claims

They have to kill a mason and if Momrangal is town them every fucking night or they have conf town in lylo.
It doesn’t matter if they are all godfather infinite BP infinite global roleblock
They would need more than one kill a night otherwise they cant win.- Lovebird

3 masons v 3 scum and X VT depends on the X.In post 2835, Lovebird wrote:I don't really get how. 3 masons vs 3 scum isn't instant town win, for example.
If there are 3 masons and 1 VT in lylo all scum are forced to counter claim the masons in the open setup or more than likely double bus. If they counter claim then VT is conf town.
It isn’t an instant win but scum can’t control their destiny.
Only if scum make every kill right in a four mason scenario plus mason cop do they have an equal shot in lylo
I legit don’t see that passing review ever- beeboy

tbh I remember town reading you for something but i forgot what that something was so I took you off my town list.
Like I feel like when I commit to town reads that I forgot where they come from I just end up following really shit reads the entire game which I want to refrain from doing.
I don't know when I'll have the time for it as I probably shouldn't even be posting right now. But I kinda wanted to read this entire game and come up with really elaborate reads but that plan ultimately has just resulted in me not doing anything. reeeeeeeah yes, beeboy style reads;

Tbh I mostly agree, I've recently concluded that if I just hold off making reads when I am not comfortable doing it leads to me playing a lot better.
The only real issue is sitting in a game going "I am not ready to make reads" tends to annoy peopleah yes, beeboy style reads;

A town lean on Sudo I should probably think about a bit more cause I haven't read most posts in question people suspect.
I've barely been in this game other than the first couple of pages, and Alisae was so strung out and stressed over this e was playing wildly.
When we get Pinecone home and she starts eating properly, I'll be able to sit down and jam session some really solid content that will let you get a good read independent of Ali. At that point, if you're still not sure, well, it's my fault."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Yeah I am cool with giving you time, I don't really have a desire to end the day phase or even consider lynching you today since I am town leaning your slot.
Although I know a lot of other people do want to end the day and I don't really intend to push against them either.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

I agree with pine that I didn't overly like this post.In post 2811, OnTheMark wrote:Anyone faking masons has a prod dodge

To rescind without it factoring heavily into my reads.
Anyone rescinding after that point is a scum claim.
I am not sure if it's scummy and I don't agree with Pine's reasoning but like the post is bad.
I just can't decide if it's wolfy or not.ah yes, beeboy style reads;

Stop this. Scum masons is not a matter of balance, it's a matter of bastard.In post 2830, OnTheMark wrote:Keep in mind Jingle is a fucking reviewer.
He gave scum no night chat before to make us seem town.
Scum masons is not outside Jingle’s repertoire.
Mason = Town
Period
Beyond any kind of question. It's a literal mod-confirmed role.
The only way that there is a scum mason is if it's a bastard game, and we know it's not.
So shut the fuck up with your obfuscation about the Mason claims.
Most likely, one pair is lying and is scum. I suspect they're your partners, and I'm starting to think that the Occam's answer is Nico/Mastina. Nico messaged us about Masons before Mastina gave the green light, and now she's doing everything she can to keep up the pretense, because failing to do so is an instant double-lynch. Bee and Lovebird, on the other hand, played the way I expect Masons to play - they kept their cool and only claimed when it became necessary and proper."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

How about now, Bee? 2830 supports my read on 2811. I'm just tired and responded to your 2825 first without finishing the rest of the thread, or I'd have latched onto that first.
Haha
"Latched on"
It's funny because Pinecone isn't

Also I don't necessarily have a problem with Town Masoncop. It's the kind of questionable-utility role which would balance some of the weird power we've seen claimed.
Also also, if Mom is a Mason cop, why don't we just let her investigate Nico and see if she's lying?
If she's lying, we lynch Nico. If she then flips Mason, we lynch Mom for being a scum Masoncop and get confirmed Mastina in the bargain.
That's like.......win-win-win-win."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

I was thinking this too. It has to mean if mom is town scum have something with a Mason or something to counter it right?In post 2827, beeboy wrote:Also from a balance stand point why put in mason cop and not like a fucking role cop or something.How do you expect to find the culprit when you're all worried about each other's feelings?
