That said, as much as I support you and your right to control your narrative and identity, there are elements of AtE mixed in there.

I mean, by all means, zealously defend your identity. I would if someone continued to misgender or otherwise misidentifying me despite my insistence otherwise. I'm just sensing a second agenda in this case.
