You are analyzing the way people generate content, as much (or even more) than the content itself.
It often helps differentiate genuine thought process from a faked one.

1) On reflection, do you think forgetting HWS is an un-CC’ed pr is more or less likely from scum here, or just meaningless?
2) it’s not the worst lynchpool I’ve seen, but I’m not sure it fits with JJH’s actions from yesterday. I’ve had some lingering suspicion on all those people, so it’s not outside the realm of “why would any town suspect X???”

What’s your stance on Dave? I want to see if he does anything with that legwork / questions I did for him / asked him.

I wasn't trying to push it, I thought SS was the vig shot too; I've said several times that it was a theory I wanted to check in order to get me motivated on this game since my D1 was awful, but people didn't get that and started shitting on me, so I get it, no more showing my thinking process to everyone.

Still, a "medium" read should warrant a vote especially since pintu seems to be central in discussion.

I like HitAlt's argument about meta tone and not meta actions. I too see that duckling's duck is off; he hasn't directly interacted that much with players who I assume he wants to avoid. I'm one of those players: I usually jam a little with the duck, and he's the one who approaches me first (not always, but very often), but here I don't see that.

Pin is interesting. some of his pushes have felt really lacking and the vig=>NSG theory really doesn't feel like a read anyone should have even if tinfoil

I also don't really understand why he voted me there instead of trying to talk to me. Hit's case is nonsense.

I also think he's in general a better player than his posting suggests and I know he acts like badtown as scum because people read it as him just being tinfoily

So, I noticed something about HitAlt, and I'm curious what you think.
His early play seems openly survivalistic. Not even concealed or subtle, just open 'I want to live'.
However, that seemed to change around 1660 / during D2.

Do you think this is alignment indicating, playstyle, or simply reflective of emotional state?

Personally, I think the swaps in votes between the pre-claim wagon and the post-claim wagon are not particularly indicating of anything other than who was in the thread. A lot of people were actively holding off voting because NSG asked for a no-hammer until she could post things (then Math hammered anyway).

Also, I'm not really sure who you're referring to here with the start-to-lean-scum on. Care to fill me in? Are you referring to Pintu?

I actually liked his early play. Felt balls to the wall and too bold for scum. More concerned with his more recent posting, I actually think it's highly indicative of pushing an agenda.
