Modifiers which are explicitly Normal for any alignment include:
Ascetic, Backup (with or without primary role present), Bulletproof, Enabler (with or without primary role present), Macho, Neighbor, Non-Consecutive Night, Weak, X-Shot, Ninja, Loyal, Disloyal, Loud, Multitasking, Informed, Activated, any modifier restricting to a specific set of nights (e.g. Even/Odd Night, Night Specific, Novice)

While I know the wiki hasn't always (and may not currently be) up-to-date on the normal guidelines, it was recently updated to reflect the new normal guidelines, so the above is the list of approved modifiers to use in a normal game. I.e.: As far as I can tell, a mason tracker is

explicitly not normal

At the same time, I find it a bit questionable that the mod would confirm such a role is normal/not normal, especially when there is ambiguity surrounding it. It suggests the role is perhaps actually in the game and somehow didn't get noticed when the setup was reviewed, which does happen from time to time.

While it may not be in town's long term interest, I want the other mason to claim to verify Seal's claim. I just cannot accept it at the moment as a truthful and honest claim; I'm not necessarily saying Seal is scum, but I do think this might be an extended gambit.

I interpret the bolded as meaning we can use different roles as we like in a setup:

E.g.: It means that both a Cop and a Doctor or both a Cop and a Jailkeeper could appear in a setup (because those are all explicitly normal roles.)

On the other hand, why do we have the distinction between roles and modifiers if roles and modifiers are the same?

Even with that, there's only been three instances in all of Mini Normals where Masons had some type of additional role attached, and that was Neighbor or Recruiter.

So...a bit skeptical at this point.

Never had mason tracker in a game before but seems super strong; UnrealSeal, am confused, why didn't you just ask for his reads before his claim?

N_M is 100% scum though; the only thing we are arguing about right now is the details of Seal's claim which I kind of agree are skeptical butafter that JarJar post confirming mason tracker is normal, am basically inclined to believe. Also what Ircher said is right and it basically becomes apparent since Seal is probably going to flip next night if no TP.

But mostly it's N_M being awful d1, zero content, quick hammering without a claim and after reading back byron's last post, his vote switch to N_M just indicts him even more and then his switch from VT to JOAT after he hit L-2.

I agree with this; I feel like N_M quick hammering was kind of a last ditch effort. Feel like last scum was probably off this wagon and not participating that much.
