Because mechanically, the group claims were counters based off ranking.

Unless the 4 group-centered roles of the town were all negative utilities.

Based off play, I'm nowhere near saying all 4 of them are town.

Dunn claimed half of our roles and missed something. I corrected him on with extra game knowledge. People thought I scum slipped. But then Dunn backed me up upon rereading his role PM when he could easily have just left me to the mercy of the ranking round. And he would have copped zero flack for it because he would have just been able to say I fucked up and he didn't have that kind of info in his role.

Literally no one would have been any wiser.

I completely agree based on play.

But Espe’s argument is that based on the roles, one of the 4 has to be scum, which is why Fire faked a cop guilty in order to buy an extra night.

But I don’t ageee with this argument. It could easily have been argued that all 4 were town and that it was just a self-balancing mechanic, just as it’s possible for there to be scum in the group, providing scum with incentive to influence rankings etc.

I am a ranking cop. (With a certain amount of shots I won’t disclose)
Based on my rank the results I get are dependent on.

If I rank higher than the person I am checking I will get the results I should get if I was a normal cop
For example I check a Town night one and I rank higher than them then I will get “not mafia”
If I am lower I get the opposite of what I should get
In same example I would get “Mafia”

Hint, change the word cop for rolecop, and mafia for no result, and that role makes much more sense.
