Actually kinda like this from brass regardless of duckIn post 176, brassherald wrote:I'm going to advertise how I've correctly scum read duckling very quickly at least one time.
So far, I've been okay with him.
He'll be obvtown by the end of day 1 if he's town, and I think he is
What little I know from games I've read supports this as likely true (the he should get obvtown if town part, I think it's too soon to actually judge though) and my experience is most scum don't feel comfortable straight vouching for their partner like this even if duck turns out scum- Raskolnikov

Huge tangents of twisted logic does read critical, though there admittedly there is the distinction of saying the logic is bad and making any AI judgment based on it.In post 196, MagnaofIllusion wrote:@Rask- why did you try to suggest my observation about Inferno was a criticism when it was an attempt to see if others would vouch for what looked like a deliberate play style and see who responded?
Questioning for meta is valid but the phrasing there read a bit exaggerated so I wondered if maybe part of that may have been asked to discredit or make him look bad.- Raskolnikov

Dramonic posting strikes me as very cagey here
Has to go into more why the progression by inferno is fake given I don't think anyone else sees ingame agrees (gustavo having had problem with inferno on something entirely different)- Raskolnikov

No I get that sometimes (difficulty to parse)
It was in referring to 328 but I remembered your spoiler posting on inferno
As a side note I probably should have joined a geriatric or something, have to get used to this pace here (also the number of names to keep track of)- Inferno390

I'm not really sure what to say now that the thread has more or less died. I'm gonna probably ISO a few people and see if I can form some early reads and generate some discussion."Do I have permission to....refute some of the bs that Inferno just spewed out?"--TywinL

Read up to page 11.
All this "liar"talk gives me a feeling that Gustavo is being a pedant wrt inferno. I will have to confirm via iso eventually
The case on me is weak sauce. Something about coasting being scummy but not willing to call scum over it. As a rule of thumb, voting someone over one tell is a bad idea- dramonic

Aside from on inferno I don't know much of what you're thinking this game (okay it's early)
and there I kinda want to know more of what your read is now after his exchange (I have to try to guess at your meaning in 222, I mean the implication is you don't like it)- davesaz

Disagree heartily. I'd agree with lynching someone over one tell can be a bad idea, but even that is situational. Certain contexts it's absolutely the right thing to do.In post 336, Flubbernugget wrote:As a rule of thumb, voting someone over one tell is a bad ideaA community that stifles dissent does not deserve the title of community- Pine

==> Vote Count 1.2 <==
With 17 votes in play, it's 9 to lynch!
Sometimes, in a game of Risk, people make bold moves early, and try to seize enemy territory before it gets fully consolidated. Not so this time. Black decided to give up on Asia and dig into South America, but those gray idiots are still slugging it out in Asia, this time with green. Everyone else is fortifying their borders. A few quiet "back room" deals go down, and with a wink and a nod, Central America becomes a demilitarized zone as a resurgent black focuses on the blue Africans, and the red North Americans seal their borders after picking off the last stragglers of opposing armies. Meanwhile, Pine's yellow forces slowly creep up out of Australia to menace, but not engage, the combatants in Asia from a position of strength.

Point me to the 180? Couldn't spot it... Then again it's early morning hereIn post 301, Gustavo wrote:I just read flubber’s 180. I don’t see how that’s worse than profli’s sayung rask is playing against his win condition by no lynching tbh.
Exactly - this is the point profii (and I) are makingIn post 304, Ausuka wrote:That makes sense to me though w/profii? nolynching d1 definitely doesn't help the town. Like, I agree Rask's actions weren't scummy but I feel profii's actions weren't either.
Self votes are badIn post 322, Gustavo wrote:Y’all can go ahead and lynch me. My earlier statement about the people in this game stands.

Fwiw this was about when I decided Inferno was an early townread. I don't really think you're interested in why I found the post noteworthy though? Like let me know if you're after something here.In post 232, Elbirn wrote:@Both of you, What made that post notable or good when it was nothing?
