I don't really think lalendra's post was towny? Like I think as mafia if you see something coming from town that you think is really obvtown, you're fairly likely to townread them for it.

I was ready to vote Osuka, but I really liked his catch-up. It's been a while since I've played a game this large and while I'm still trying to sort the people who have posted, it feels like we have a LOT of people who aren't doing enough for me to read them. Whether that's intentional or not is hard to say at this stage.

yeah well, just the attitude and self-expressing in the thread that they are confused and that they were looking into things. Mafia usually does stuff in action instead of just backtracking themselves specially about a vote they never even casted. It's just something that came to my mind when I was skimming.

Thing is, I admit: I suck in reading no entity players - people who say "its day 1 fuck it, Others can do this for now." are not readable by me. But yes I agree Wave attidue is scummy not towny.

I've never seen the majority of players in a neighbourhood being scum, can you link me to somewhere where that happened?

pretty sure I modded one on ms already It's old though have to dig it. The thing about neighborhoods at the start of the game is that "You don't know how many scums are there". Any deadly assumptions is just bad play. You must solve the people in neighborhoods like everyone else - or maybe more proitorized than everyone else cause you have more information about them

But that information about them is about their ability/role and what they say in neighbourhood not their alignment.

It was not just tone. The content was just busy work, and the combination of things he mentioned were off.
My scumread on him is not based on that post alone. and why you say its not relevant to anyones alignment? he was "catching up" in that post and topic about various topics. It was a content he was generating. It was just forced.

yeahhh I meant to write opening paragraph there sorry. as for the forced thing not sure I really see it but perf probably gets lynched today anyway so. wasn't trying to imply that your scumread on perf was only based on that post.

We're playing a large normal and neighborhood does not mean scum, I will say majority of neighbors being the same scum faction is pretty unlikely though (even if neighbors are randomized that type of thing tends to get considered for a reroll IMO)

Meh unsure about Lalendra. I know the way I play as mafia is to try and react to things as naturally as I can but of course other people can play differently. I just feel like that post is fairly NAI and if Perf flips town like I think he will Lal's votehop onto him feels really horrible, especially since she voted based on the reasoning that I was scum revealing the neighbourhood and pushing on wave to get a wave lynch? and then even when I revealed as IC she did 0 re evaluation of that position.

I'm not comparing this to my game. I'm calling the logic that says there is only one scum in wave and perform a false dilemma and saying we shouldn't preassume that.

Based on stuff that happened in the game I think they are not aligned though.

I knew exactly who I replaced into, and that post was my reaction test for wheme's confusion, and I wanted to see how others would react. His reply was suboptimal, as is his ISO. I also talked about it with gamma when he asked me about that.
That's also where I breadcrumbed I'm in a hood.

A town reply, I would've expected something like these:
"Wth that's not true
I checked and you're lying"
And possibly a vote of me.

Later, gamma was the only 1 who asked about it , and now , you. That's the story.

his expectation for town whem is really weird though. cause thats like never gonna happen? Why you neighborize someone you will be in a neighborhood with them but IDK if thats the normal version rn or the normal politics has changed since last year. scum motivation would be looking solvy of neighborhood people but its not distinctable from a possible town motiv for actually testing it for real
