I'm not doing any conflict resolution because I'm not townreading two people who are going against each other. I have townread 3 people who went against one poster, who I do not have a townread on, have agreed with one of their posts on a fundamental level but can totally come from scum, and can see why he is being wolfread. that's not trying to resolve conflict or keep anything calm.

By “too much”, do you mean clogging up the thread or being a high poster? Also, content obviously matters. If you’re clogging up the thread with spam or blatantly attempting to derail then yes, that is definitely anti-town but posting a lot and being solvey isn’t. I think think post count is one of the weaker manifestations of alignment. High posters and near-lukers can be of either alignment. One thing I’ve witnessed scum do a lot is to push on the lhf in a game, since they are generally the easiest mislynch targets.

Thoughts on super-hero team mechanics all?

FA can choose up to EOD yeah?

Do we control it ourselves and tell FA who to do
Do we let FA do it as long as it's announced (pre/post overnight)
Do we let FA do it and not announce it
Should the heroes themselves announce their choice (assuming we decide to out who they are)
Should we tell the heroes what to choose
Should we get FA to tell the heroes what to choose (is this allowed? It would require out of game comms I think? So probably not?)

Don't announce it. And definitely don't announce who has what power.

from my understanding of it FA should choose and announce it before night is called, and I think if the heroes can choose their abilities they should actually not instantly claim cause then wolves know what people they should PR hunt first.

but I'll leave the mechanics for those who have read the things properly instead of lazily skimming it.

Not seeing the advantage of FA telling us before nightfall? FA is immune from NKs overnight correct? She can tell us tomorrow unquestioningly I believe and give the scum no info on the heroes she chose. Am I missing something?

Maybe but I was recently in a game where a villa got scumread for pretty much the exact same thing. What you ought to be asking yourself is, is either/both the vote/reasoning stem from a town or scum mindset. I of course may be biased, since I also voted for Cerb. I am fairly new to this site and I based my vote on his play from our recent Varsoon game.
