I'm ok with that. I kind of expected to drown in this game, so I can't really fault anyone for scum reading me.

First, I townread her for voting muffin a couple days ago.

days later, I call her a special snowflake who doesn't feel like sharing her special reads. it was moody posting cause brazil just lost the WC, but also something that bothers me in games.

what followed that was a conversation with gamma about his read on sakura, followed by a conversation with cerberus in which I'm townreading his posting but disagreeing with his scumread on sakura.

then titus came along defending her, and I have a conversation with titus about her misreading and other things she did that I disliked.

I have then moved on to ISOing sakura, townreading her and asking for her townread on katsuki to be elaborated.

I'm not invested or focused on sakura. the thread just went that way. I think she is town and want her invested in the game, that's all.

My point was that Muffin refuses to give reads and no one cares or that’s how it seems anyway.

I don't actually care about not giving reads. I don't give reads early game. I care about not expressing the reasoning behind the reads when given.

It just nrver came up. It’s still not as good as a vote bot but it saves me all the work I had been putting in tracking down everyone’s posts to ISO.

I don't actually care about not giving reads. I don't give reads early game. I care about not expressing the reasoning behind the reads when given.

When I give my reasoning for my earliest reads - before I’ve formed much conviction behind it - people inevitably accuse me of making surfacey reads but they don’t stay that way for long. I guess I process things more slowly but then I’m also likely to be more accurate.

There's lots of stuff I have only skimmed from today because I am semi-VLA during the weekends, but here are general thoughts so far.

I am not a fan of people refusing to explain reads, personally, I don't necessarily think it's AI, because I have played with people like Wisdom who do that as town, but, damn, it's annoying and I think inhibits the town from forming an effective town block.

I'm very confident in Gamma being town, he has a distinct tone in his town games from his scum games. I know he took a break, but this is his town tone, not his scum tone. I've successfully identified the town tone in games in the past, particularly Civ V mafia where people wanted to lynch him repeatedly, but, I really ask that people listen to me on this one for a change.

As I said, Nancy is probtown, that whole ISO thing doesn't come from scum with daychat.

the worst is not looking good to me, he's another I have a good record of reading and I don't know how involved he actually is in the Marathon weekend, but he's been evasive here. In fact VOTE: the worst

I see the point on muffin, and he's scummy, but we have plenty of time and I've no clue what the VC on him is.

Chick is also another one that pings me, but, let's be honest, that's nothing new. Eventually I'll be right and she's scum, but she's on my watch list.

If there's anyone in particular you'd like my thoughts on, I'm happy to give them. This is just what's sticking out in my head right now.

Just a follow up on this one, don't commit to this today, wait for tomorrow to say whether you've done this or not to see how many kills come out. Worst case scum fake you out by not using their 2nd (3rd, 4th, shit they might all have one!!!!) kills to kill you N2 through your BP, which is still a town-win.

2 questions.
1: Why are you thinking scum would ever have multiple factional kills as a standard thing?
2: Why do you seem to believe there's 5 scum (you jump from 4 to all)?

I was figuring that with 1 scumfaction and 23 people there'd be more than 1 NK possibility, especially as the leader is the only known quantity to scum and immune to them. I'm really just saying that I very much doubt the BP is protection against a determined scumfaction.

Isn't the setup 5 scum? I was just doing the fairly common "1,2,3...lots!" type of linguistic post. Beyond the ability to get through some BPs I haven't got much more theories on what they might have. My guess is they have a few 1-shot extra kills, or 1-shot strongmen etc. But having extra kills seems more likely than strongmen to me, given BP status and numbers of players.

I think the strongest long term option is probably the 6x medium for the coordination it will offer

Oh that poor poor dead person, this will create 6 one-on-one conversations for that dead person won't it, not a single 6-7 person "medium thread"? Also basically means we'd have to lynch town today since you'd need to be confident that the dead person is relaying messages correctly.

Responses to my Sando question as well as the spirit medium circle option would be much appreciated.
