the point is that they have no thread presence so im wondering if they might be the scum team given that im getting townreads/leaning town on most other people

because my vote is not on anyone and at this point im just going to grasp at straws to find scum

i mean i could go ahead and drop a vote on flicker but other people seem to be pushing that so I might as well do other stuff in the meantime

this game feels way too slow for my taste, gotta shake things up somehow

i mean if you want to do a deep dive into my older games im pretty aggro early game calling for peoples heads 5 pages in, also get lynch for it half the time on d1 but what can you do
ill try and wander onto scum but usually my scumreads develop with interacting with others rather than seeing others interact with others
guess i like attention?

it's not the pagecount and number of posts that makes it slow its the lack of scumhunting and wagon forming which im at fault for but nonetheless its giving a slow impression

Lack of scum hunting? Its day 1 and we are on page, what, 8? We are still very much in the feeling each other out stage for anyone to have really strong feelings about wanting to hang anyone. Shit we can have hunches and we can have inklings, but if you are looking for a full blown case this early then you are scum and need to die.

Also, at you talking about the lack of wagons forming when you commented on not wanting to join the one on flicker and would rather do your own thing over there.

meh feels to me like a whole lot of chit chat and not a whole lot of your scum and you need to die. maybe chit chat helps people scumread? im kinda selfish and i cant scumread off of chit chat so i want to move the game out of the direction we are in.

i feel like if i join the flicker wagon id be basically saying have fun nancy and then dip out the thread, pushing an unique case helps me get in the game and develop scumreads based on interaction with others.

When I compare it to the play that I know to be town from you based off our personal games it is much more aggressive. To be you usually make a bunch of self deprecating posts and talk about how you can't get a good hold of the game. like instead of saying something about nancy feels off, feels like she is controlling town he goes with the proposition that cannot really be argued against

So why is your first instinct to call him scum and vote him. Why wouldnt you talk to the newbie, dance if you will, so suss out his true machinations and intentions? Wouldn't that be a fantastic way to figure someone out? "Hey Iceman, could you explain this IC lynching business more?" Iceman: "Sure, here's a full explination." Ninja- Maybe im reading to much into it, but that first line seems sassy.

And yeah, a town thing to do is not to throw down a vote at the most minor of perceived slights and maybe actually just engage the guy first since it was over something you thought he was saying and not what he actually said.

So far I'm leaning Town on trinity. I've seen her scum game..... this game she feels more natural.

What I like about oka is the hunting of separate leads and not just sheepping others reads. I always feel like I come across as scum when I just sheep and when other people do it it seems scummy. So can appreciate that view point and it gives oka town points.

What I dont like is the insistence that the game go fast. On this forum that is a super scum read for me.

I also dont like the lazy read. Picking on the people who haven't posted in the first bit of the game or snagging a weak straw seems scummy to me. It to easy to brush off a mislynch the next day as the fault of the lynchee for not being more involved.

Eventually we need to push lurkers and lynch them but I dont think we are there.

Maybe shocked is the wrong word. It's more an etiquette thing especially when its obvious that there wasn't supposed to be an actual wagon.

FF is actively engaging with people. He is also going out of his way to correct things that are not directly relevant to him which makes me think he is town cuz if i were scum i wouldn't care about correcting things and just let people argue and have at it.

well, even so we have plenty of time.

im used to 96 hour days(4 days RL) at the maximum and we have double that plus one day.

these daylengths feel abnormally long to me, but I know I have plenty of time

This was a HUGE adjustment for me at first. I was used to 48 hours.

The nights are the worst. 48 hours..... really? We do 24 or when all actions are received. Usually with 20 PRs sending in actions.

I feel like there was a slew of posts from me addressing your scumreading Ice based off the IC thing. I feel like you quoted like one of them to respond to. So it feels like you are cherry picking from my posts to respond to only the parts you want to. Generally this is something that I try to intentionally do, and I don't know if I mentioned it in our last game together. Its why I post the way that I do.
