i encourage anybody who thinks there’s a chance i might be scum to develop a case against me. inherently, there are several things i have done that don’t make sense coming from a scumplayer. why question everybody immediately upon entering the thread AND then actually care enough to follow-up on every single question? why, if i were scum, would i be so adamant about a plat hammer in the sense that i actively encouraged it to happen more than anyone else? and especially

why, if i were scum, would i have helped to basically limit the lynchpool to myself, teacher, and nexus?

so inherently, i’d be helping to line up lynches of nexus and teacher. on what planet would that strategy work? like, does that make sense from a survival aspect of me being scum given that teacher was my major townread d1? and also because there isn’t no way teacher would be lynchable tomorrow. i’ve felt teacher, meanwhile, has kept his option of me open—albeit as a last resort. i still, meanwhile, believe him to be town.

You're basically saying "why would I do x if I were scum?" knowing full well that as scum you would do that so as you can say just that.

i guessed that if you have experience playing as scum, you wouldn’t want to risk hard-defending a townplayer before they would claim a power role/vanilla role, and especially when your partner (plat) would be the opposing majority lynch wagon. your gameplay gives off an experienced vibe, anyway, so that’s how i deduced this.

your push against an espeonage lynch wagon forming makes no sense to me to be coming from scum, which brings further credit to you being town.

alright nexus, let’s put our money where our collective mouths are. on a scale of 0-100%, what degree of certainty do you have that i am last scum?

upon review of your posts, it concerns me that your second post and first with game content in it is where you voted platfleece, but also that you simultaneously in that post passively encouraged an espeonage wagon. this reads as a possible distancing attempt, in conjunction with encouraging a wagon forming on a townplayer so you can switch to it if need be.

i don’t think you ever stated revised opinions formed from the reread. so did you do it? and if so, where’s the follow up?

altogether, i see you being scum approximately 92% of the time in this game. this is a 2% uptick from my earlier stance on plat, so talk about being more confident. that leaves about an 8% chance of human error occurring somewhere, so i’m heavily inclined to think you’re last scum.

I can’t speak for others, only why I townread teacher. i can’t recall any of the other remaining players dishing out reasons pertaining to why they conclusively townread teacher, so it kinda feels like everybody’s just followed me - but i’m confused as to why. i’d like to see some other players back it up with evidence. i could be wrong here though, so maybe i missed it

but, apologies for the delay on the case! went hiking this afternoon, and stayed out most of the night thereafter.

• i townread teacher as of 97, my very first post of the game, for the way in which he was pushing the game forward —> suggestive of a town motive to me.
  
  
• second, as of post 183, i posited that i felt thinking about the theory of someone ‘OMGUS’ing in advance and using to push forward a place for scum plat is inherently town-minded, as i felt a scum train-of-thought would be one where he’d instead attack plat for things real-time whenever he gets the chance. i felt he gave special consideration to the innermost thoughts of plat, which also seemed protown.
  
  
• third, i asserted d2 in 479 that i found it highly unlikely teacher would be scum because of him leading the EoD lynchwagon against plat, which i felt a scum member would instead be hesitant to do.

thanks! can you add a little reasoning to support your townread of teacher just so that i feel that you have given careful consideration to it? i see you handed a townread to him and platfleece in the same post early in the game just for simply driving discussion in the game forward — is it something about the way he’s doing it that clicks to you personally?
