For those curious about the lack of flavor, I use images for inspiration, and it's bloody hard to find unadulterated Munchkin images. Because I love all you fine folks, I'm going to go home in an hour or so to feed the cats (I spend 23.5 hours/day at camp from Sunday afternoon-Friday evening) and I'm going to pick up my actual Munchkin set. From now on, the monsters and treasures will be (slightly) random! I'll even snap the pictures myself and upload them."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

It doesn’t make any sense. Even if TW is a serial killer, group scum dies first. I think you know a lynch on him isn’t going through so you’re trying to look town by pointing fingers at potential scum. And that point is backed up by your immediate vote on sky, right after advocating killing TW.
VOTE: profii
the whole game you've been relatively quiet, even saying yourself your reads are weak and so on.
then you say "whoever says lynching a SK is scum"
which I did notice before advocating* for the SK lynch but I don't really care if people scum read me for it so I just carried on.
so then you are now obviously scum reading me
you've gone from having no direction to essentially manufacturing a reason to vote me. bizarre.
*advocating - I refute that - I stated there is a logic to lessening the blow of double night kills. If people aren't on board with that, I said I _wont_ push a TW lynch, but I believe it is logical pro town thing to do.
Third party hunting over group scum hunting is not the logical pro town thing to do.
And so what if I’m jumping in with a scum read on you. Yes I’ve been largely absent. But now that I’m getting active with something, you’re going to complain? And you’re going to sit there and talk about logical protown moves?
“I’m not really in this game my reads are weak”
“Still have no reads but anyone who says lynch SK is scum”
*profii: TW is SK, it’s worth lynching*
“I’ve magically found scum guys”
That is _totally_ manufactured
Also if I was really scum, why would I say that knowing you would start pushing for me in the middle of my biggest scrutiny period thus far
I’m not complaining - I just find that a really really weak way to get on my wagon
So, because of not really having my head in the game, I'm not allowed to turn myself around and find things to get invested in? You're trying to use the fast pace of the game to discredit me.Instagram: BoneSpellArts

Not sure what you mean by this? If you mean my list of possible scum on the profii wagon- I meant that in the literal sense because for me it's not possible for raskol to be scum.In post 2039, Inferno390 wrote:Gonna slap Ausuka for her scumlist on the Elbirn wagon.- Ausuka

this is somewhat odd, yes. i recently read that apparently duplicates aren't allowed in normals? so this would technically get around that but at the same time it would be a bit gamey. In post 2011, Inferno390 wrote:

This bothers me.
MoI has claimed Loyal oddnight FV.
Ausuka has always only claimed Loyal FV.
Doesn’t anyone else find this discrepancy odd?
Yeah, I retract my earlier statement. I'll just fruitvend wherever I want. Hopefully there is no mafia tracker. In post 2018, Raskolnikov wrote:

Profii again please talk about your progression 1948
your response doesn't address my actual concerns
How do you think there's scum in taly/elbirn and don't feel like straightening it out but just eeeeeeh lets lynch elbirn and if town I guess sus taly
I really want to know how you're comfortable going along with taly as so whilst scumreading him
what I was trying to say with my earlier post is that a lot of people seem to be saying that Elbirn, who has a large wagon, is scum, but wagoned profii instead because ??? i kinda feel like profii has scum equity now though? idk- Andrius

I haven't played a normal game since 2010.
Because they're boring and the only one I was in was terrible and I played terribly that game.
Only did this one because my Cleric asked me to. <3
And I only posted that in-thread to serve as a reminder to myself because so long as we collectively receive the 'correct' amount of fruit each night those player cannot be performing the nightkill, if they are mafia-aligned. I'm not saying I suspect EITHER of [Magna, Ausuka] but so long as those actions go through it does help the POE game and myself.

Again, part of the Normal rules.
I feel that might be a good thread for people to peruse, or at least implosion's ISO in it. It would save me some time reiterating stated rules.
To be clear: This game may be moderate role madness, it may be a semi-experimental, slightly madcap setup, but it is firmly within the Normal ruleset. I just don't subscribe to the notion that "Normal" must mean "boring"."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Plan doesn't go ENTIRELY out of the window and I highly doubt the NRG would approve of a game with the entire scumteam having the 'Multitasking' modifier but S I G H.
I'm trying my best to keep post numbers down but someone was saying something about 'tw is a vg' and I would like to, again, point out that they are NOT confirmed so we must treat them as though they have potential to be either alignment so we are not guaranteed a vig shooting for scum each night. Especially since Magna is correct - a deadscum early on means a potential serial killer is best served by attempting to 'balance' the factions by aiming for town.
xyzzy's MIA is suspect.
Still not ready for a lynch since I need HitAlt to be here and talk.

And the reason I said this is because due to the dram flip and subsequent happenings, TW is either vig or SK, and I’m basically conftown. (I’ve been floating this a lot, I know, but I dare someone to find a good case on me that takes my tunnel on dram into account. I DARE you.)
So saying TW-Myself-Sky are possible scum votes is akin to shading Sky as scum at this point. And I think that’s just blah."Do I have permission to....refute some of the bs that Inferno just spewed out?"--TywinL

First toTaly- didn't get to my dedicated reads today due to a huge staff shortage at work today ... working on 3/8 of our normal team meant no time for lunch and review. Will try my best to get to it tomorrow.
Andy I'm being a realist here. The old MoI who had the time to grind scum into submission by massive walls of analysis over the day until they cried uncle just doesn't exist anymore. It is why I pretty much only play Geriatrics ... the pace of modern MS games is too fast and spammy for me to effectively deal with. And while I feel Aus is a Scum Vendor and worst basically a lock Serial Killer I don't think there is any momentum to get either of those lynches today. You yourself give a nod to the fact it is possible I'm wrong on Aus and Pine's thrown some ModWifom into the mix. As for Duckiling ... what can I say. I think the evidence speaks for itself. But there is a sizeable group (including your clear Chicka, BTW) who doesn't see what I do and think he's a Vig. I don't have the time to push him like I would have way back when.In post 2058, Andrius wrote:So why are we not lynching The Worst again?
You're right on the money - we can't really leash him and we can't trust him so why are we chasing SkyGazer when an unleashable Serial Killer is threatening our game.
Like, I'm with you on the duck-is-a-serialkiller and your logic right up to you voting NOT THE SERIAL KILLER given how much damage they can cause. As you said there's been a BIT of posturing for a non-conventional shot and I don't like that given we've got targets on the backs of a few people I'd rather not see nightkilled.
Also for calling it an "eventuality" that Ausuka is scum fruit vendor you want to lynch not eventuality scum?
What are we smoking magna because if you're saying near-confirmed serial killer and that high certainty Ausuka-scumread you're throwing around why are we supposed to go for SKYGAZER over EITHER of those two?
Sincerely,
-Confused
Skygazer pretty much is my best for scum in the pool I think most people consider lynching in - Elbirn's slot, Xyzzy, Sky, Profi and HeWho. I will try to carve out time to make a case tomorrow.
Who is your preferred lynch Andy?"I am a leaf on the wind ... watch how I soar!"
Pretty much Geriatric game restricted at this point ... unless there are players I REALLY want to play with.- Almost50

I hear you. I really do. The return on investment for wallposting cases is low.
I don't have a preferred lynch at present. I'm fine with [xyzzy, Elbirn, Profii]. For now, I'm fine letting duck walk. There's a left-field reason I just realized as to why he could be town so I'll be patient I s'pose and let the work of his labor reveal itself. I really, really need HitAlt in here before we get a lynch going. I've resolved the 'how do we not target the same people' issue in my head and I need not share it with him but I would like his presence.
Because, honestly, he STILL has no game presence outside his role. The ENTIRE case for him being town is 'im an alt' and 'im just playing tee hee role games'. Which I get. I get it as a secret alt you can do w/e with no consequences for your reputation or play or whatever. He's done little by means of reads. I suspected him all Day One. Then Day Two rolls around and he's got role-related information. Which is both useful if town and AWFULLY CONVENIENT if faking scum since he can pretend to do stuff and hide behind ROLE INFORMATION without reads or contributing to lynches. The fact that we actually have the [Vengful, Vig(?)] outed DRASTICALLY increases the odds of his own pulling guilties as he has, effectively, two false positives removed from the results list.
If he's town we have a good shot at this game. We really do.
But here are my biggest concerns:
1. Our "Vigilante" seems to display traits indicative of not wanting to be leashed. We're not (yet) at the point where we need to provide names but if he DOESN'T shoot in the lynchpool and/or lurkers we're gonna have words and/or rope.
2. HitAlt, the guy whose play has been defined by his role, is MIA.
3. xyzzy is MIA only in this game while posting elsewhere on-site.
4. The near-guaranteed lynch of Elbirn went up in smoke due to the replace out. Not going to say he's scum and it was a tactical replace out but MAN it was so inconvenient."This is the true face of a man who plays paladin."- Andrius

Thing is, Magna, I almost want to lynch xyzzy for the MIA but I want to give her time to actually show up and play.
I want to lynch the Elbirn slot for his terrible play regardless of a replacement but its strictly :goodplay: to wait even if the wagon dissipates.
The waiting is real.
And Ausuka's also been real quiet which is unsettling."This is the true face of a man who plays paladin." - Andrius
