Fair, and yes I am concerned about being scumread by the two apparent town leaders, but there's also me just not wanting to let scum steer the game in general because I recall both in The Thing Mafia and some other game I'm not 100% on which one rn that something like that happened.

As for how many scum, I made this analysis a WHILE back, but I think with 2 scumteams they will probably comprise 20% of the population each (so 4-5 on each scumteam). That assumes balanced numbers though.

4-5 on each scumteam would make 8-9 scum in total

Town would've auto lost by this point

although who knows maybe we have.

I'd suspect it's more like 3 on each team left. The bonus lnyches from fund's role were very fucking powerful, we apparently had a bodyguard to protect him the whole time, and we started with 28 players

We need either a crosskill or a duel where a scum of one team duels a scum of the other and we neither them at this point.

@fakegamma- spiffeh's looked legit town for the whole game imo.
rb significantly less so and just has about 200 posts but isn't an actual scumread either for me.

I think the best way to make a double scum kill possible is getting one lurker in particular to duel someone else under threat of me shooting them in the face. But again, like, time needs to pass and posts to be made by them first.

I'm skimming the thread and then prob letting it breathe for the rest of tonight if I don't see anything else I want to respond to - votes are encouraged, duels are very, very much not so.

I find it really hard to believe that this is the game Creature rolled scum and decided to completely subvert his meta and post consistently throughout the game

I mean you're right about me kinda? I haven't been contributing because of the duels, but it a cause and not an excuse. I detailed this earlier, the tl;dr is because I am not caught up and the duels have been going on, I've just been focusing on who's been dueling each time. Now that I actually have a little time both wrt duels and irl, I'm trying to get into things fully.
PEdit: Okay so I can trust Spiffeh here, rb not so much but at least I'm not going to be worried about the entire driving force being a bad influence

Did ANYONE think voting the losing party would result in death at this point?

@MOD - Only the winner of a duel gets Energon or Scrap? Or does anyone who voted for the winner get E/S too?

There was an earlier comment that suggested that we wanted to duel early so people get their abilities, but if it's only the winner, then I feel like we should be collectively voting for dueling matchups first and then once the duel starts, vote in the duel. I know that seems a bit convoluted, but it seems like it would be a better way to encourage people to both be actively involved, and make sure that people that we think might be town get a chance to get their Energon or Scrap.

I don't think Toog is scum because they would have this hashed out by now I feel

@Gamma killing both would mean no-one gets Scrap/Energon which would mean we're potentially missing out on game-changing night actions

I don't think the possibility of a Doc/BG is outlandish and even if I think FB is dumb, he's still very likely a town VI which means his night action could still help at least a little bit

plus, I think it's too early to vote neither since Kats could still possibly be useful during day play

from a mechanical standpoint, one of firebringer or katsuki would have to be very significantly above null for me to consider not voting neither.

i honestly think rn that katsuki is scum and just made up that strong cop because he knew he had to win the 1v1 because all the sketchy votes are going over to the katsuki surviving side. the best resolution to this either way is to just kill them both.

same rationale behind why you lynch D1 instead of NL, random lynches can hit scum, nightkills can't. upping the amount of random lynches relative to nightkills increases the odds of scum getting hit.
