It ain’t over til it’s over. In Turn of Camn, Town lynched correctly three days running, and scumteam pulled off a win because of an unassuming darkhorse. Right now, Ausuka is the big threat. Get rid of her, let tw wipe out some competition, and kill the clears. If she can keep from getting killed by tw, Sky has a shot. A long shot, but not impossible. In post 125, Gamma Emerald wrote:

I also want to point out that this isn’t a Town stomp - the worst has killed 2/3 of the dead scum."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Oh certainly. I give them in the neighborhood of 90%+ odds at this stage. I'm just not counting chickens before they're hatched. In post 128, Gamma Emerald wrote:

chickadee you just gotta convince the classes you teach that instead of painting a fun picture of a unicorn ice cream cone that instead you're going to paint a list of reasons why each player in the game is town or scumIn post 3712, Chickadee wrote:omg guys

You can't really say it's a town roflstomp when over half the scum kills have come from non-town.In post 123, Gamma Emerald wrote:This game is looking like another town roflstomp- mastina

All HWS knows is that every role (aside from VTs and Goon) has a component which was recently whitelisted.

I argued recently that the normal guidelines should be shifted to allow for games where everyone is informed as a way to cleanly allow for moderators to give info like whether a game is multiball or that a particular role isn't in the setup. confirming that sort of information isn't in opposition to how normal games should work imo but there should be guidelines for how that sort of info can be disseminated to ensure that everyone in the game is aware of these things.- Pine

I mean I would argue that that's every normal game. the number of normal games that can exist is incredibly massive but is basically finite. as long as there's no graylist, the normal queue is really a semi-open queue, and that's fine, but it should be acknowledged as being true.- mastina

(Incidentally this is one of the reasons I preferred the graylist, but, eh. Win some battles, lose some.)In post 137, xyzzy wrote:I mean I would argue that that's every normal game. the number of normal games that can exist is incredibly massive but is basically finite. as long as there's no graylist, the normal queue is really a semi-open queue, and that's fine, but it should be acknowledged as being true.- Inferno390

Not sure whether to laugh at the brilliance or cry at the stupidity. In post 3731, Skygazer wrote:Side note: this is such an obvious town win that I would've conceded by now if I was scum
I've conceded before, I'd do it again
This is such a fricking scumclaim, but the balls it would take scum to say that sort of thing...

Okay. Assume: 1) Town does not lynch any fruit clears 2) Nor any otherwise-obvious clears, or those who can make verifiable claims 3) tw and Sky do not shoot for each other 4) Both manage to evade lynches and guilties 5) All kills go through and they don't double up again
Safe-ish Townies
Ausuka (Universally TR, vendor)
Raskolnikov (Received fruit)
brassherald (Received fruit)
Irrelephant (Received fruit)
Should-be-safe-ish
Chickadee
D4 ML a non-clear Townie i.e. HWS
N5 Kill Ausuka and a safe Townie (Chickadee or Rask if they're smart)
D6 Lynch in {Nos, Jingle, Chick} (Probably the former)
N6 Kill the other important Townie, and another safe
<For argument's sake, let's assume HWS lynch, Ausuka/Rask kill, Nos lynch, Chick/brassherald kill>
D7 Players are now {tw, Sky, Irrelephant, Jingle, Brass} Irrelephant and Brass are still effectively clear, so scum's best chance is a Jingle lynch, maybe?
There's a path to victory for pretty much everyone, but it requires Town not following through on some good housekeeping strategies, like Doccing your best investigator (Ausuka) or policying tw before LYLO, or something clever like getting a free lynch by policying Chickadee and letting her shoot a question mark."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"

Probably a fatal error. Claiming vanilla big will be disproven when HWS flips. He’d have been better off claiming part of his real role. Vigilante Multitasking 2-shot Tracker might have been boughtthe worst wrote:my modifier is "as fuck"

Well that’s probably game. Unless Ausuka dies tonight, she has Skygazer dead to rights. She immediately PMed me a fruit vend to Sky. I mean, maybe Skygazer has a Scummy-worthy moment of insight and claims the fruit, but I doubt it.Last edited by Pine on Sat Aug 18, 2018 10:34 am, edited 1 time in total."Cry havoc, and let slip the wombat of war!"
