Yeah this was basically mountainous. After some other games ended like this I realized GR could actually be the last scum. That is when I really started losing ky nind. I considered fake claiking cop every day for this weekend just to push it through.
Still my favorite game on this site, just wish scum hadn't killed tchill so we could have ended the game with poetic beauty by lynching the vengeful and having him shoot last scum.

I think in mountainous masons are supposed to be equal in count to the scum. 4 man scum team vs 2 masons, 1 IC, 1 FN+neighbor/vengeful + 1 UB is 4 vs 5. Scum had 2 UBs and 1 rolecop but also an enabler (negative util). I can definitely see why this would be passed (strong scum PRs and the UB does not start as a 'mason') but in 25 players I do agree this is a pretty steep mountain to climb.In post 7789, Golden Robster wrote:I might be complaining but I felt like four scum felt a bit small to be honest; maybe I'm just complaining but yeah.

the issue with a setup like this is that you can run into situations exactly like the one I brute forced on day six, a strong townblock forged on the back of several conftown that essentially destroys scum's ability to really dig in and play the long game by just hiding behind a mass of mislynches.
the two conftown being Tchill13 and Wavemode, two slots that were otherwise within that conftown block (and therefore very easy relatively to find other town from there) hurt a huge amount and that's a big reason why Gamma ended up falling.
that lynch severely swung the favor towards town since Gamma was the closest to being entrenched within the townblock thanks to how pocketed Wavemode was-

btw I ended up losing this post somehow (apparently "submit" means "GO TO THE FIRST PAGE OF THE TOPIC AND DON'T SAVE THE POST" on this site? wtf?) but I had a perfectly valid explanation for Wavemode not dying earlier
it was essentially the idea that scum were trying to reduce the amount of conftown but also not wasting a lot of time on killing them all, so having the least threatening town in each neighborhood (Hopkirk and Wavemode) to prevent them from communicating privately while also having to use the least time possible killing them all (with the added benefit of Gamma pocketing Wavemode) gives the greatest amount of flexibility for how to proceed with the game-

I have to assume GR was not assuming that Tchill would flip 'mason' as otherwise I'm pretty sure she busses texcat.
To be honest I don't feel super bad about mislynching Dunn and KK, but I feel a little silly for so dramatically misjudging the size of Tchill's epeen.
@Ircher, you can also release the Krazy PTeven though almost all of it made it into the game by this point except for a few posts of me just rambling to myself about GR.vote conspiracy-

Sorry about the abrupt exit, but I really needed it.
When you can't get to sleep at night and start getting pounding in your ears when you see a scumread on you, it's time for a break.
On the plus side there has been a lot of confirmation over several games that scumreading people with unfounded scumreads on me is a valid scumhunting tool.A community that stifles dissent does not deserve the title of community- texcat

Was wrong about Dunn but it's always tricky sorting hard defenses of people that flip scum. If he had stuck with "Wheme is town" I would have believed it more but instead he went on this "if he's scum we'll get him later" thing which messed up my townreadvote conspiracy-

I was serious when I said PP and Flavor Leaf were the real carries here, since it is WAY easier for someone like me to solve the game with at least one red flip. Day 2 red flip out of 25 players, even with two busses, is still really impressive and the early game town played really well.
I don't get why people who are lost don't sheep the dead more. If PP and Flavor Leaf are the ones who caught Wheme, and they both says GR is scum...vote conspiracy-
