This is significant in a genre that, by trope and tradition, envisions disability in terms of choice: absent a lack of resources, no one would choose to be disabled when advanced technology or supernatural means can “cure” or “fix” them. However many resources Miles has, he never ceases being disabled; his world, life, and narrative continue to be shaped by his conditions. He is never entirely “cured,” whether by Miles’s own choice or by the limitations Bujold has set on the text.

She responded 10 minutes after my last post imploring her to dive into the game and read. What I was hoping for was for her to fake reading and go off of what I said with the doc claim and go from there. This was a very well thought out plan and does have some downsides that I realized as soon as I made the post, but at that point that post was made and I was running with it.

Its not like she responded 10 minutes later fully caught up and still didnt say anything, she hadnt done anything yet.

We'll have to agree to disagree then, that plan was not "flawless". I fail to see how confusing a newly subbed in player would reveal alignment. I agree some players might take your cliff notes as all reading needed and some might read the entire thread first, depending on the players time, motivation, personality etc (but could be either alignment in either case)

I meant to say wasnt a very well thought out plan. You say new player like she is a newbie, but she is one of the ogs around this place. See this is the type of post from you that I feel is only made to poke me. I've explained what I was doing pretty throughly and if you don't get it you just don't.

I like how in your world the "likely" response from her is the one that supports your position.

And please note that I have caught scum replacing into like 3 games in the last few months since I've been back on site, so it is possible to do.
