I think it's more likely that they would stop posting than that they would all show up in defense
There's nothing to defend so I think it's actually very likely they'd go quiet and try to wait it out in hopes momentum would die rather than defend their buddy as he's approaching a flip
It's definitely possible one or two scum are also already one the wagon so they could unvote when the time is right

But regardless of wagon momentum (which too many players are placing too much importance on & interpreting weirdly imo) how do you read the Titus slot?

Sorry but no. Mafia wouldn't just stay quiet in the hopes of momentum dying down. Momentum dies down if town sees better options. Momentum isn't going to just die down when Titus is the only wagon option, deadline is running close, and people are apathetic towards the game.

Titus on her own is meh, not scummy but not very towny.

I have no idea what building wagon momentum on a buddy and later unvoting "when the time is right" (? what exactly does that mean) is supposed to accomplish over using the COLOSSAL 5/13 vote weight scum have and just getting a wagon going tbh.

If I was scum, even if it was just lovers with Titus, mafia would be making more of an effort to defend me I think; nobody is seriously scumreading me, I'm pretty sure there are people townreading me.
