@Nico
Why are you so hung up on Mastina, anyways? The role is confirmed to behave a certain way that is useful to town, and Mastina is more or less letting the town use it instead of her. Regardless of alignment, it's a good thing to have around.
also, answer these:
- Who else is scum, besides Mastina to you?
- Why do you have this certainty that Mastina is scum despite targeting Porkens last night? Is it solely because most of the game thinks she's town?
- Why did you fall back to lurking being your town trait as a defence when you aren't lurking this game?Noble of the house of light. Professional Daydreamer.
Downtown Train Mafia is currently in day 1. PM me if you want to spectate!- NicoRobin

I'm in agreement that if Mastina is too busy or too sick to play she should replace out. Scum her is also plenty capable of using RL excuses to lurk. I also think that this using her ability and no lynching is actually pretty anti-town.In post 2577, Chickadee wrote:
She won't replace out, and she won't be force replaced because she keeps prodging. In post 2547, Lady Angel wrote:Why are we trying to lynch Mastina instead of just waiting for her to replace out or otherwise get force replaced?
It kind of is if we're keeping her around to use her ability day after day until we flip her for the results. In post 2559, Nero Cain wrote:
I mean its really not though. In post 2544, Chickadee wrote:and it's kind of holding the game hostage.
How many votes is Mastina at?
"but teh confirmed town!"
Yeah, I get it but no lynching in the early game is advantage scum. We need to strike some equilibrium between lynching and using this ability. If we do use this it should be on hard to read/lynchbait/players that won't get shot like Wheme or Sky or invisibility or LA. I do have a theory but I want more data/don't want to muddy the waters so I'll post about it some other time.
So NSG is the bad town you've decided to sheep. In post 2639, Skygazer wrote:my reads are aligning strongly with nsg's tbh

yeah, we won't be doing this.In post 2675, Jingle wrote:Plus, we can just ignore sorting her because as long as she uses her ability everyday she's largely irrelevant to the thread and has a huge target painted on her back.
Who would you use BOP on? BOP is a trash argument anyways. In post 2737, Jingle wrote:In case it is unclear, at this point the only policy lynch that I will humor is a BoP lynch.
Well, it also says that you are ignoring your supposed team.

- I just want the players to consider every possibility. Call it whatever you like, I just don't want another loss to happen because of people townreading some one just because of their role
- Because that wasn't defence. That was highlighting double standards.- Nero Cain

no, its not b/c of role.Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. I didn't want to bring this up, but the reads list wall you made is pretty much 100% of the reason I'm scumreading Vizzy.
Your reads list was approximately half the town is weak townreads but they're good enough to fool you, approximately half the town is null reads, 2 players are scum (Note, this is FB and Porkens) and 2 players are town (Including the innocent result.)
That's a for shit reads list, and thinking you should be obvtown for gamesolving when that is the result is suspicious as hell. This is a Parachute.- Jingle

Not gonna vig you at all. The deal I made with FB was to kill GE in return for a day's reprise on mastina. When I offered to have it be you it was when your only claimed power was triple voter, and I most certainly wouldn't vig a claimed rolecop. In post 3154, NicoRobin wrote:I reiterate: don't vig me until I out my result. This is a Parachute.- Gamma Emerald

In that situation, Mastina would presumably try to gladiate you. Note that Mastina must activate this ability in chat, and so she cannot specifically choose to fail it, and it is publicly visible when she has attempted it.In post 3145, NicoRobin wrote:Also, you conveniently neglected to address this
In post 3138, NicoRobin wrote:Okay, but what if I rc her and prove that she was lying. What then?
The way you would claim a guilty on Mastina is saying she is not loyal. At which point, if you were telling the truth, she would still be able to gladiate you, and thus we would lynch Mastina. If you say she's not loyal, and then she fails to gladiate you, then we would lynch you. This is mechanically solved by itself.

Who is literally the one person who can prove or disprove mastina as far as we know

Yeah no wtf, she LITERALLY has proven she can graduate people. This is Flat Earther levels of density. In post 3157, NicoRobin wrote:However, there is a part you neglected to include: what if my rolecop says that her entire role is false, not just the loyal part? We're falling through space, you and me, clinging to the skin of this tiny little world, and if we let go...That's who I am.
