it makes sense on some level to me if we can be confident in our reads. after all, if we're already assuming they're not both scumbuddies, mastina gladiating nico would be a waste if nico is town, as we'd already be assuming she's town on mastina's scumflip. In post 3324, jjh927 wrote:That's fucking terrible logic- Jingle

Seems mighty convenient that you want to get me lynched as opposed to the person who lied about their role.In post 3321, jjh927 wrote:Also, what do you mean "if"
We're 100% lynching in Mastina and NR because there is guaranteed scum in there and also a foolproof way of determining which one it is
Trying to give your partner a window of opportunity to survive by getting the person who guiltied her get lynched instead of her?
p-edit: Okay, so let the possible scum live so they could endgame easier? Seems kosher......
Isn't that just nice? Two of my scumreads are setting things up so that the third could endgame the town easier, and the third is largely AWOL and letting the other two do all the work- jjh927

More misinterpretation......In post 3328, jjh927 wrote:Yes but I'd much rather keep the town loyal gladiator
She is disloyal, as my result proves.
So unless you can 100 % prove that my result is a lie, she is not loyal.- northsidegal

We physically can't choose wrong if we get Mastina to gladiate thoughIn post 3333, Jingle wrote:Then you want to lynch nico. Which is the decision we’re making before the gladiate even happens.
I’m not advocating not making a decision. I’m advocating hedging our bets for the chance we choose wrong."As best I can tell, jjh is some kind of wizard with mind control powers." -Jingle- NicoRobin

I understand that you want to lynch me before your partner so that you can save her.In post 3331, jjh927 wrote:I'm also just gonna pretend I didn't see that post because Nico doesn't seem to understand what is going on
If this is not the case, then you should have no qualms about flipping her first, so why not flip her first?- Skygazer

Look at gamestates
The only difference in what you are suggesting is that if people want to lynch Mastina, we get Mastina to gladiate someone other than NR.
If she is scum, then we get the same amount of info as we would have done before.
If she is town, then we mislynch where a guaranteed lynching of scum was possible, but we get either a conftown or a guilty separate to NicoRobin out of it and lynch NR the next day."As best I can tell, jjh is some kind of wizard with mind control powers." -Jingle- jjh927

i dont think mastina's claim comes from a disloyal scum because going around clearing random players and preventing no lynches is rlly suboptimal??hewoo- NicoRobin

Going tinfoilier, my current train of thought is that Jingle coached a fake guilty as disloyal rather than no modifier in order to push this logic, as a "no modifier" guilty would not allow for this suggestion which actually potentially allows NicoRobin to 'win' an otherwise unwinnable 1V1In post 3343, Skygazer wrote:

Sky, I think the motivation behind it as scum is that she didn't realise her role had any potential for impact on the game until I pointed it out, at which point she would be locked into using it like that because not doing so would make her obvious scum."As best I can tell, jjh is some kind of wizard with mind control powers." -Jingle- Varsoon

No. If she’s scum, a successful disloyal gladiate is still a townclear.
If she’s scum, we don’t have a guaranteed way of lynching scum because she could easily be faking the trigger condition for her gladiate ability to setup a fake guilty.
The only solid way we can be sure of their alignments is if the gladiate is successful, in which case nico is town and mastina is scum. If we decide that that is the likely case anyway, then hell yes I want to have an insurance policy in case we chose wrong. This is a Parachute. - Jingle
