Jingle what was your actual plan for winning here? You can't lynch me because IV won't vote it as he would lose, and I'm not risking a vote on IV"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"- GuiltyLion

Oh, cool. You're mafia and IV is mime.
I'm gonna go back to doing fuckall until we thumbtwiddle down to a no lynch. At which point IV should be able to block you to prevent you from winning.
Or, both of you could PM KMD requesting the draw like I already did, at which point the game will end. This is a Parachute.- Jingle

IV any chance you wanna lynch Jingle for the lulz?"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. The deadline was originally posted as the 19th. That was a typo. The actual deadline is the 29th which is now reflected in the day start post. Because that's today, I'm listening to anyone who would like an extension due to the mistake which can be stated via PM. If no one says they want it moved, the deadline will still be todayKMD is the coolest dude who ever lost a bet to me - vonflare- Jingle

Wouldn't actually blame you if you did, IV. I objectively made this game shittier when I replaced in and invalidated your presumed wincondition. In post 1258, GuiltyLion wrote:IV any chance you wanna lynch Jingle for the lulz?
But you can still force the draw, which is slightly better than outright losing and impressive for a faction that was screwed by D1.This is a Parachute.- Kmd4390

No one died night 7.
The game has ended in a happily ever after. A Lynch isn't going to happen and scum's kills will no longer go through.
Jingle was VT
Guiltylion was mime.
Innocentvillager was mafia.
The reason Day 7 happened was because Jingle's assumption that mime knew mafia was wrong. A mafia win was still possible if Guiltylion had blocked Jingle on Night 7 and Innocentvillager submitted a kill.
Thanks to everyone for playing.KMD is the coolest dude who ever lost a bet to me - vonflare- Aristophanes

Neither. It means they all lived happily ever after.

haven't read dead thread yet
yeah I messed up not roleblocking the previous night, was AFK whoops. glad I made the right decision ultimately though. I don't think I would have been lynched in Eragon/Jingle/IV/GL LYLO regardless, IV wouldn't have voted me and high likelihood Eragon would have caught me RBing? will check to see who he watched that night.
this was a really hard game to play. my main strategy was to try to avoid any sort of NK from both Vig and Mafia, so I was trying to ride the sweet spot of being vaguely scummy but not so scummy to get shot. It would have been interesting if I had lynched Jingle a few days ago, but back then I was still very paranoid he was mafia and that would have lost me the game, whereas Fink was super transparently obvious town.
I def think no lynching should not be allowed in a future run of this setup. Thanks for modding though KMD, the game was smooth despite a somewhat broken strategy and an unsatisfactory draw result. Lane I'm sorry I couldn't pull through for us"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I think at seventeen now I believe the only real monsters might be the type of liar where there's simply no way to tell. The ones who give nothing away"- GuiltyLion

actually this feels spot on:
I really dunno what I could have done differently here, would love thoughts/feedback. I didn't want to argue against the no lynch plan because I thought that would look very mimey. In post 34, Kmd4390 wrote:So true. Not a single Lynch since Day 1 which was on a mime. Even with the guilty result, they aren't likely to win. Towns entire goal was "don't let mimes win" which appears to be a success. So they set a goal other than winning the game, probably reach that goal, and probably don't win."I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I was super tempted to do a last minute gambit of voting Jingle to bait a crossvote bc Mime would not do that, but Jingle was too obvtown by the end to risk IV suddenly hammering. I tried to play the 3p like I could be either town or mafia but yeah was basically just throwing hail marys at that point"I think I no longer believe in monsters as faces in the floor or feral infants or vampires or whatever. I stand by my strategy as dominant, despite it being unfun. I would like to point out that town very nearly won by following it, despite pretty much the worst possible outcome D1. Sorry if I made the game less enjoyable for anyone.
I would definitely include plurality at deadlines (meaning mime almost certainly wins the 1v1v1) and consider disallowing No Lynch to make the setup more fun.
And also, I find myself reminded why I usually stay away from the Open Queue. This is a Parachute.- Thor665

The issue with the strategy (though I agree after a Mime lynch Day 1 it was probably the best move town had available) is it required the hail Mary of a Watcher catching Mafia or Mafia/Vig shooting Mime *early* to really buy a town win back.In post 1272, Jingle wrote:I stand by my strategy as dominant, despite it being unfun. After a certain point it was just playing to avoid losing which is different from playing to win.
If Eragon hadn't caught me I submit this game would have been a very easy Mafia win.
Though I do think Mime and Mafia were aided by a distressingly large amount of the playerbase not bothering to look townish.Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
