I am fairly certain that skitter is town and I am going to be cutting my least certain townread from the coalition to make room for her.

That makes my coalition myself, Northsidegal, Raya36, Skitter30, TesXX which I am reasonably happy with.
Of the pool outside I still feel fairly convinced that DVa is going to flip scum and I would rank the remaining players robot > gamma > yurikojasmine in scumbuddy odds if DVa is scum.

I am entirely failing to understand why I am the only person townreading Skitter30 and would appreciate it if some of you could clarify your reads on her.

Maybe I cut Raya actually. I don't know. I'd put my reads something like

Strong town: TDW, Skitter30, Northsidegal
Medium town: TesXX
Weaktown: Yurikojasmine, Raya36, Gamma Emerald
Weakly scum: Robot
Scum: DVa

So if it's not the obvious answer I'm probably wrong on one of my weaktown reads which makes me very reluctant to cut Skitter30 from my coalition.

Approaching this game with an unusual posting style and gimmick means I'm unlikely to be townread.
Call it challenge mode if you will - I am supportive of a coalition which I'm not in. Because I understand there will be unconscious reservations in reading me as confidently as others.

same idea as before, you've made villa-y posts and you haven't made posts that make me think that you're a wolf. there's no new smoking gun to point to as much as you've just broadly felt villa to me across all your posts. I've thought about it a little bit more and I am going to HURT: Raya36 and HEAL: YurikoJasmine because I think that I am marginally more likely to be incorrect on Raya36 than on YurikoJasmine.

Skitter30 I see Robot saying that he is being doubted because of his gimmick the opposite way, I feel that he is making an excuse for why he is being seen as wolfy to discredit the wolfreads on him.

and that post seems to say to me that he understands why he wouldn't be in it and isn't going to try to get in it; being kinda uncaring about getting in it feels townie to me

I mean he's discrediting other (imo) strong candidates for the coalition, specifically us, so I could easily see it as him wanting his partner and not him to be in the coalition while still looking good for it.

like, if you take it as a given that myself and yourself are both town and he refuses to allow us into the coalition, that means there's still only a 1/6 chance that his partner fails to make coalition.
I think that trying to discredit people who are playing towny and remove obvious coalition members is a far better scumtell in this setup than openly pushing for yourself to be in the coalition. (which most people will do)

Also he says really silly things about me being 'scum who is cornered' because I suspected him and DVa when I was in most people's coalitions that I don't believe come from someone genuinely reading the game.
Most of what Robot puts in thread feels like agenda laden turd designed to discredit and attack the people that pose a threat to his wolf pack while making a show of 'not wanting to be in the coalition'.
With regards to the not wanting to be in coalition thing it feels like something a wolf would say to look villa moreso than a villa would actually say knowing that it hurts their wincondition.

OK, well, I forgive you. I'd like you to flip your read although I'm not exactly sure how to do that. I'm still feeling pretty strongly you're town but I might need to reassess how I'm approaching this game if you're right.

I have been pretty preoccupied with The Witches Ball. Obviously my framing here is going to be biased, but I encourage you to read my iso there and see if I toneping you there as well.

I do have two completed scum games on site -- Dolphins and Newbie 1893, so if you need a scum game for comparison those are available.

That might help me understand if your scumread of me is based on a playstyle clash or whether there's something else.

I've been trying to decide what else I can discuss from Witches Ball since it's making me reevaluate my play here somewhat. Basically, it was sorta similar in being a coalition style win (the goal of the game was the find two "locktown" people and then have them as a final pairing). In that game I incorrectly scumread Gamma, but correctly townread [an alt of a player in this game which affected my read of that player here--I'm not sure if it's rude to out this alt rn tho]. I'm not sure that means I want to reevaluate my townread of Gamma here, but I do think I need to review my notes and make sure my reasons for townreading him are solid.

That game also might help you understand why I am pushing so hard for people who are suspicious of me to be in my townblock. 2/3 of the scumteam there tried to hard buddy me, and in fact House's attempt to pocket me in the PT was basically the failed key to the scum wincon. So I guess I'm in a mindset right now that when people find me a bit suspicious for reasons that seem natural, it makes me feel like they're more likely town than scum lol

I will say I was only 3/5 of my RVS reads there so I'm going to take some time either tonight or tomorrow to make sure I feel good about those. I think I need some more time interacting with Gamma and NSG to shore those up.

In the mean time I guess I need to understand your reasoning for putting Tes in the coalition. Even after being wrong in Witches Ball, I still think I stay on Gamma over Tes personally, but I'm open to your thoughts there. And Gamma does need to 'show up' here if he wants to be in the coalition so maybe we need to push both for more content.
