Since you're out of RVS, why? Policy vote?

Read his ISOs from other games. Tell me the difference.
Else that's a policy lynch you're advocating.- Ariane

hey lam! (and auro/volx!)
Why mention one player in your RVS post but then RV someone else completely? Why did you choose random to vote?

by this do you mean you're not gonna vote for the whole day...? How do you expect the day to go then?In post 11, snowbeast wrote:I'm not psychic - yet. Will hold my vote for a day until I understand this game a bit more- lionheart1492

Nah it's a legit question a) we're hardly out of RVS anyway, b) I can imagine scum feeling weird about voting /not voting a partner, sure it might not be the best question in the world but I was curious when I read it so
The one to snowbeast it should be obvious why I'm asking
The one to FL is mostly cos they seem very passive and I'm curious as to whether this will continue- Ariane

RVS is the best part of any mafia game: factAlso, what is Not_Mafia doing? This is some of the worst play I’ve ever seen.I will SEARCH for games with you and N_M to help you policy him.I can't remember the last N_M post that wasn't bland, unimaginative and lame. Some shitposters are at least somewhat funny. You are the epitomy of the type of poster that nobody would miss if you were to suddenly disappear. You never add anything of value.- lionheart1492

But it's not at all alignment indicative. I just find it incredibly pointless as a line of questioning because even if the person is scum there's nothing there to push them on.In post 87, Ariane wrote:in my experience even RVS votes have at least done kind of (usually silly) justification, so I'm curious as to why lam decided not to do that
Also, I would rather we didn't all start outing D1 townreads with no guarantee of protection because it makes mafia kills too easy. If someone is getting votes and you need to stop them getting wagoned because you think they're town it's one thing but just listing a townread on me (0 votes) accomplishes nothing rn.- Ariane

that last part seems weird to me, I find it incredibly helpful to see other people's reads be they scum or town
if nothing else it encourages accountability and makes it harder for scum as it's more difficult for them to seem town, because they have to justify reads changing as well as who they're voting in the first place, both of which are much easier for town to do
Also, it means that eg my town read on you can be pushed at by other players and my mind might be changed or the read might be further cemented. you say I shouldn't bring it up unless I need to stop someone getting wagoned, but that misses the point that my reads aren't 100% or anything. besides, catching scum by process of elimination is legit. I don't see anything wrong with being open (also, how does it make mafia kills easier?? not following that)- Ariane

And whether or not the vote is at all AI isn't the only point, it's whether or not scum/town might respond differently to being asked about an RVS vote, which I think they mightIn post 90, lionheart1492 wrote:

It was a joke about how I find a name like not_mafia to be a player that isn't mafia because it's in the name. So I random voted randomaccess since the word random is in the name it was a suitable random vote.- Flavor Leaf

I'll pounce when I find something scummy. And right now, I'm trying to gather town reads so I can potentially try and look into some sort of POE (process of elimination) read to go off of.In post 82, Ariane wrote:slow game
FL what's your plan in terms of finding scum? how do you plan to dig them up?
There isn't really much to go off of right now. We're at a spot in the game where everyone's pretty passive, not giving others really a reason to pounce on. Eventually someone will do something to change it, and it's gonna change the landscape of the game.
Your posting this page has been townie because it seems like youre trying to solve the game, but realize we really have nothing to go off of.CHECK OUT MY HOW TO PLAY AS SCUM GUIDE Maybe it'll help you catch me

He realized that he worded it in a way that could have been worded better and actively tried clearing it up for people.
I think that’s townie. Sure, scum can do that, but they’d do that trying to mimic a town mindset. He could be attempting to mimic it, but the act in itself is townie.CHECK OUT MY HOW TO PLAY AS SCUM GUIDE Maybe it'll help you catch me

On the flip side, not forming consensus townreads makes more people east to get mislynched, benefitting scum.In post 95, lionheart1492 wrote:By "making mafia kills easier" I'm referring to their decision, targetting the hardest people to lynch is an easy call for mafia. I'm not really here to argue the validity of posting early townreads so I won't go further into that.
