Overkill 2: A Blood-Thirsty Stallone Themed Game

A crumb is literally a message in letters hidden in a post like the first letter of every word/sentence/paragraph spell something out but now the meaning has warped to mean "clues" - which is what a soft kind of is too.

Like if I said I love uniformity - that could be a cop soft. Or if I say you guys should leave me alive - it's a general PR soft. There's a lot of ways to leave clues to help validate your claim later. I've never seen the benefit of softing as town.

Oh and crumbing - people leave clues to their PR role or actions they took so if they are forced to claim they can refer back to old crumbs to prove they didn’t just spin a story up under pressure

This might be the first letter of each line in a post spells out who they targeted so you could potentially say “I investigate Cerb day 1- look at the first post of day 2 it went P...L....a....y....G...u...I...l....t (etc)

Obviously nothing stopping scum from playing the long game either and if you crumb obviously scum will realise you have power and kill you

I still think Wisdom/Majiffy so far. Something about Wisdom’s tone seems a bit off to me. I can’t really explain because it’s very subtle. I think flips will help a lot.

How many scum are we looking at

being towny is overrated

The order is flipped.

Maybe the towny comment is a joke but that felt like there was inspiration from elsewhere. 152 is his first shot at getting into the game so for that I don't like it. Doesn't really help town to speculate on the number of scum day 1. But it does help an SK get a feel for who they should be targeting.

@Tails: It was mainly an exercise for me to pick out a few odd posts from the early game and ISO their owners. Haven't had the chance yet. I was also interesting in hearing thoughts on the early game from others to compare and contrast.

@RR: I think it may be my perception of activity in this game being so much bigger in terms of player count, that each player's individual posts get lost. Just felt that you and thor were less memorable than overkill 1 and I attributed that to low activity.

Sorry yesterday I was so tired didn't do much. Will be reading throughout the day today.
