You didn't like DVa's earlier posts enough to have a vote on her; why start a new wagon now and break momentum?

Do you not get similar vibes from Dunnstral?
wow i just vote whoever i think has the best chance of flipping scum on day1 imo

momentum not even real until close to deadline imo

I'm aware of notnova's misrep of DVA, he claimed that the "not serious" posts were lamist. But the actual lamist posts were DVAs first two posts.

He agreed with me though, so he can't possibly be scum.

How could you possibly know that I'm trying to be relaxed? I'm also not trying to be funny. Your reasoning is wrong. And so is your vote.

Wait why would someone that's funny and relaxed be town? I think this is you low key being lamist as scum here. You have been pushing the "funny" angle all game with your posts, and I guess relaxed too? So yeah you just exposed yourself imo.

Yep. The most charitable interpretation of his post would be "I dislike her non-serious posts, also I agree her posts look LAMIST" which is fine, but his phrasing is still a bit scummy.

If you look at post 107, rb claims to be relaxed and funny. Then says relaxed and funny is town (it's not lol). So instead of just outright saying they are town, rb instead opted for a more hidden/scummy way of lamist, and thus voting me in the process. Not sure why town would lamist and misrep in the same post. I think we found one scum.

Chapter 2 - Mala's return

No sooner had the villagers begun to vote on the summary trials than the door flung open
and a slender, cloaked figure strode inside. The figure produced a vial of dimly glowing
fluid from the folds of its robe and, without uttering a word, threw its contents onto one of
the present militiamen.

Malakitty:
This man is an impostor. Seize him!

The man in question was one Inferno Dragon, nicknamed thus for having slain a ghoul by
blowing the flames of his torch. Vitriolated with the mystery liquid, his skin sizzled and burst
open, revealing the decayed ashen layer underneath. The wounds only opened for a split
second, but that was enough.

InfernoDragon18:
She bewitched me! I'm innocent, I swear! I've killed ghouls! Please!

But the mob was deaf to his pleas. Most had seen the effects of holy water on undead
flesh before, and the reaction was unmistakable. They skewered the fire iron through his
chest and dragged him outside, where they impaled him on the nearest tree. He gurgled
and struggled weakly for another minute, coughing maroon wads of stale blood until his
limp hands fell off the iron and he expired. His healthy skin rotted before their eyes. The
real Inferno Dragon had probably been long dead by then.

At that point, the new arrival reached and slid her hood back, revealing a young woman
with thick dark hair and vague cat-like features.

Lamees:
She seems familiar.
Egix86:
Welcome back, Mala. I'm glad you chose to join us at last.

Mala was one of the first Hallowcrest refugees. She had split from the main group quite
some time before the militia was formed, but she had obviously acquired a great deal of
knowledge about the undead in the meantime. They didn't bother asking whys or hows
and she preferred it that way — she had never been big on words. They were just glad to
have her back, and although she only answered their gratitude with a smile, they were
sure she felt the same way.

You have (expired on 2018-12-23 20:00:00) to discuss and decide on a lynch.

So I won't ever make a post with the intent of "driving conversation." I'll make a post with the intent of "talking about X." And I'll do this when, and only when, such an X comes to my attention.
So you don't drive content via questions or votes, but generically drift, let others drive content, and then react to it.
I find a non-proactive playstyle inherently questionable for helping town wincon.
You can be a scum lean now.

true
It seems as valid as any other tell.
Town try not to look scummy, but so do scum, and it's valid to suggest scum would try to do so harder, so...?
You feel kind of like you're sidelining and sticking to tearing down other things. You can also be a scumlean.

I'll toss Auro and rb into a town lean pool to see how well they float, though I'd be happy if rb dropped the imo joke, because that horse has now been dead forever I feel, and wasn't exactly healthy to begin with.

Turns out that I have more experience with what playstyles work for me than you do.

Back when I was newer I would push reads, drive lynches, and run reaction tests. I got townies lynched all the time, and I got myself mislynched all the time.

I play this way because it works for me. Not because it fits to somebody's ideal of "helping the town wincon," as if that were universal and the same for everyone.

You can disagree with my playstyle if you want. You're free to present an argument for why the game is better if every player is actively trying to drive discussion. (Hint: it's not better. It's a shitshow.) But it is how I play, so you're going to have to suck it up and deal with it and not scumread me for things the way I choose to play the game of Mafia.

It's valid to SUGGEST, but it's not valid to BELIEVE without any evidence...?

Even then, it's probably offset by the fact that scum want to avoid looking like they're trying to look like town, which under the same assumption town wouldn't care as much about.
