Can you TL;DR them into 1 nice concise post as your ISO is a bit difficult and flip-floppy to read?In post 241, Creature wrote:Even 10 townreads feel bad tbh (specially if the three remainning don't all feel like scum),

I see your other post since I asked this saying he's not a scum read, but it seems this has affected the strength of your town read on him so I'll ask anyway: you describe his play as mediocre. Don't you think it's more likely other factors have caused that than his alignment? You acknowledge that he's a good player. You are now acknowledging that his scum game is probably good too. A red PM probably would cause him to get sloppy. I think you're town but I want to encourage critical thinking. Mafia is never as simple as town playing well and scum playing poorly. It's about everyone's motivations and reasons for doing things. In post 249, mbaki wrote:

So you're saying he's good at town and bad at scum?In post 232, mbaki wrote:I don't know why I had him as town. I re-read the game, and his posts are mediocre for a player of his caliber. Don't love how quickly he changed his YYotta vote and shifted it to Oka, nor his possible pocketing of Nero.KMD is the coolest dude who ever lost a bet to me - vonflare- mbaki

Reads are harder to explain than you think. You need to swim around until you find something to land your feet on.In post 258, OkaPoka wrote:what do you mean by reads coming before reasoning?Sigh- Creature

I guess gut reads sure
But reads you act on should have some basis in reasoning, no? Otherwise I feel like then you'd be looking for reasons to townread/scumread someone and then we enter the magical land of confbiasing. Because I'd say 90% of actions (I made that number up) are actions that both scum and town would do, it's the 10% that really matters.- Nero Cain

hey Creature why haven't you said words about me?Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I typically scumread people I don't like.In post 263, OkaPoka wrote:I guess we'll see.
Do you typically scumread people who fence-sit?
Do you hate people who can't give a straight yes or no?
Do you like 1v1ing people?
I don't hate anyone, really--but I don't like when people are furtive about a position they hold.
1v1s can be exhausting but I get caught up in them a lot because I get passionate about my reads and conf-bias into my own reads confidence a lot.- Kmd4390

I mean its scumhunting. Like, it's possible that when reading the game that you'd find nothing interesting about the slot but Creature kinda lukewarmly called me scum and the most I've gotten in so far as reasoning is a face. Creature and I have plenty of experience together and I think he's gotten fairly well at reading me and I thought it was strange he hadn't really mentioned me save for the previously mentioned face.In post 270, OkaPoka wrote:y do we have to say words about any1 if unprompted ?Of all tyrannies,a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive.
