The way that you always wrote heavy logical posts made it hard to get a grasp on you and that's very useful as scum.

About the setup, what NSG said is basically what I particularly believe too.

I guess that's kind of true (barring obvious exceptions, which there are a lot of), but day one should be an especially easy one.

Town needs many more townie votes to lynch scum than they need to lynch town.
You've got allies who are trying to help us as much as they reasonably can without compromising themselves.
Every townie is completely on their own and has three additional enemies who want to kill them just for existing.
Townies (usually) play in good faith, scum can throw the bandwagon wherever they think they can get a lynch.
If all townies' suspicions were random, the odds are greatly in favour of town getting lynched.

On later days town has historical association to go by and lynching townies to survive leaves evidence; having used your scum privilege to turn past days' "random lynch" into "town lynch" leaves evidence. Most games also have powerroles who cannot be reasonably predicted but will gladly ruin your day. On day one, town has none of its usual advantages and instead has a blank slate without any information.

Don't worry, my rep out was more to prevent interacting with you during this game 'cause I was pretty sure you were scum and I've read your scumgames and I had no energy at all to 1v1 you because of the surgery. I'm a fucking wall and I don't give a flying fuck about winning or losing as long as I have fun, so if it wasn't for the surgery, maybe I would've played along, but that was not the case.

Anyway, I already knew you were like that and I gave it a shot 'cause I thought "hey, maybe they had a bad day/week/month or someone on that specific playerlist triggered them, I shouldn't judge (I did it with Boonskiies and had a good time the second time, for example)", but when it's a tendency and it's triggered by players like me, who usually don't fight 'cause I'm peaceful as fuck, it's a no from me dawg. If you enjoy playing like you play and the rest enjoy it too that's cool, but I know I don't so that's about it.

Well, you could say a great many things about me.

I have a poor track record with White Flag games. This is a variant, but all the same it is a setup I do terribly in.
I have a general lack of interest in tryharding this game.
I still intend to put in the "appropriate amount" of effort, but I mean that in the sense of, I will be posting as often as I can (most, but not every, days), contributing content during those times, and will talk...
...But I won't be reading all 43 pages; this is a low-key effort at best.[/list]

If I am going to gamethrow by voting town, then fuckit I'm going to do it immediately and right straight out of the gate.
If I am going to be wrong and cost the town the game, I am going to do so promptly and immediately rather than after two weeks of wasting everyone's time.
If I am going to be wrong, better wrong now than later.

I mean at this point. If Clemency is scum, the game is won for scum anyway since I'd never lynch him.
If one of those three is scum, we deserve to lose anyway and they deserve to win.

(I'm not going to put that time/effort in until I know it's not a waste. Like I said. I have experience gamethrowing so I know the best way to throw the game is swiftly and immediately.)

You know the last time I quick-voted town in lylo as town. This was pretty much what scum said to set up the quickhammer.

So I'm looking forward to the inevitable game over tomorrow.

I am going to stick by my guns and see this through to the end no matter the cost. I refuse to back down, even if the price is losing the game.

(It's just that...to lynch the second scum, you need to lynch the first. So that's what I'm mostly talking about right now.)

I do feel scum played well this game, and certainly earned the win.
The town collectively made a fair number of errors. (For instance, I'd argue that the PP lynch was a mistake, because PP's townflip didn't cause anyone's opinion on other slots to shift--whereas, say, a Gamma Emerald townflip would cause at minimum two key players' fundamental stances to shift. And I say that...in spite of knowing that the only reason I wasn't on the PP lynch is because I wasn't able to be online long enough to join the wagon before it was hammered; I'd have been part of the problem via contributing to said lynch, given the chance. Basically, I might not officially have made the mistake but take my word for it I definitely would have made it.) And as a result, we definitely didn't deserve a win.

I have to say that while I didn't have much investment in the game--and I do apologize since that lack of investment in the game was a contributing factor in my gamethrowing play--I still

enjoyed

the experience in spite of that.

Well when you have a 3/5 chance of hitting scum (meaning you already have 1 key read absolutely wrong) and your first two picks are the only wrong options...I'd say mine weren't any better.
