and..... yeah I have a fair few townreads and don't want to lynch you..... so the second lowest tier on my readlist is like nullscummy players who I am having a massive hard time reading and should consider lynching but largely on a policy basis

in a practical sense it's a player I'll consider lynching because I do not townread them and struggle to like get a confident read on them

kinda in the nullscum space, I try not to use it in a more holistic meta sense because imo all players are people too (players who push holistic meta > playing the game are starting to seriously damage my enjoyment of some games)

for example I would not advocate lolPLing Not_Mafia D1 very often unless I am very genuinely struggling with him in a game and he's null where I know plenty of players who are comfortable floating the PL anyway

ok so i guess like the problem that i was having is that i use policy to mean - this player can't be played with for whatever reason (excessive absence, toxicity, trolling etc) so we need to remove them for the game, and the tool we use for that is lynching them (and i think replacement should is a better solution most of the time unless the lsot is like literally irredemable but whatever)

and i guess that's kidna what i thought everyone referred to by 'policy' and what i thought you meant, and i thought that was a bizarre suggestion because like ... i don't think anyone meets that criteria in this game

like what you're describing isn't really policy, more like 'i townread other people more so they're high on my lynch-list', which is more like - you think their play is scummy so you want to lynch them

To be honest I wasn't scum reading you at all, I was more kind of null on you until now but I don't know what to do with the fact you're not suspicious enough of me

in every game we played until now you circled a lot your read on me and almost always did wolflean me, but here I'm not seeing that, your read on me seems overly static. Also, you had a problem with me in all of those games if I was scum reading (when you were town that is).

You can say for example that my "scum slip" from before was just a reaction test but do you really think I'm that far from doing it as scum because I know that if done in the right way, not only I'll amuse myself as I'll get ignored and treated as a silly townie guy trying to do a bad reaction test?
