Ok. And actually why did you feel the need to claim your ascetic card? Wouldn’t it be better to keep it secret so you could counterclaim if someone tried to claim it?

i think its more useful to let everyone know that any failed ability means they were fucked with
its also a really low value card, the likelihood of someone claiming it is low (cus any result on them ever disproves it)
and the risk of dying with it unclaimed outweighs the minor downside of claiming it (im not convinced there really is much downside, thinking about it)

If he dies it's actually great information for town.
Its something I stupidly didn't take in account for last game and if dead before saying we wouldn't know.

Hider and commuter also fucks with abilities used on the target (is commuter in GestI? i forgot), but yes, besides ascetic is a terrible role for anything but scum.

the guy with the snake avatar iirc, and Alchemist (he voted me for that initially, but im not sure of his stance now). DT voted me without saying why, and allo said something vague about my posts.

plus, claiming it as my alignment card on d1 and not being countered makes me uniquely near-IC levels of town, because its very likely that i have the card (fypov), and its very easy to confirm that its not my role card.
which is like the best possible use of a trash card imo.

I'm asking 'cause I think it's pretty hypocritical pushing you for discarding a Cop card without even aknowledging that Junko discarded a Conspiracy Theorist card, so it seems like one of them could've just wanted to push someone for the sake of it instead of really analyzing the discards.
