Ok, so this one really went badly. Unfortunately, and I had a part in it.
-I think it was still a bit scumsided. I hope future 4-mafia games with 13p can take the lessons here into account.
-2 people forgot parts of their role PM(Aurathebirb and RCE); that made them play suboptimally.
-The replaceout of u r a person 2 was not due to inactivity, but due to a mod error(which means my fault, of course) - they recieved a role PM that was not properly developed.
-The modkill was, in my opinion, needed. I didn't like to do it. But...
1.the neighborhood was compromised. If you play in a neighborhood then you know that nothing you write there will be relayed to others not in the neighborhood without being transformed(the original wording is always more effective for scumhunting, including partner hunting)
2.The rules of the game were very clear about that being forbidden.

There was no better option than a modkill. A replacement would have not helped at all; it would have punished the rule breaker himself, but it would have left the team that breached the
rules in a better position than before - not acceptable.
The person was turned into a survivor because they really should have known better; this rule is extremely common on MS, and they weren't a newbie.


There are some lessons for me(and everyone else who wants to mod): Be more careful with the role distribution and check again that sensitive names-including roles have been changed.
The catch word seems to be not very effective; people still seem to just look over the rules instead of reading them carefully, one by one. I will likely discontinue that.
The 4-Mafia 13 player game was still a bit too scumsided, probably; not enormously so because two power roles and another player(the one turned into a survivor) really made mistakes that should simply not happen(forgetting what the role PM said, breaking the rules of not sharing things from PT's directly...), which affected the game.

Eh actually I don't think this setups really scumsided. By MS standards, maybe. If nobody was informed of 4 people, absolutely scumsided, but because the IC nonetheless was informed it really isn't. Aura not claiming day 1 that there are 4 scum is arguably the biggest setback town had, aside from the modkill which hurt scum too btw. The people forgetting their role PM is on them, not you. I also agree the modkill was needed, it was the right modding decision. Unfortunate as DDL clearly had no ill intent.

Funny thing is, I think I was legitimately correct that Morality was mechanically lockscum

So I effectively had all 3 scum locked by the end of the game

Town had absolutely nowhere near enough power to balance 9:4. One cop check and one IC is two confirmed town-- that would balance 7:2, maybe-- vig is likely to only get one shot off before he dies or is endgames which is worthless because there is no means of stopping a kill, RCE's role doesn't matter 53/54 of the time, and neighborhoods don't really affect balance at all especially when scum is in them.

I pushed to end the day that I claimed Informed of 4 mafia fast because I thought that could’ve been Aura’s info. Another reason why him being killed was the right call.

It kinda sucked RC and Shoshin replaced out. Boats and I were hard playing in a way to play against them, and then something_smart came in and wrecked everything we had built upon.

I was actually informed that one of Creature, RCEnigma, COA was a Cop with modifiers.

And then i realized, wait, traitor’s Probably within that so we might accidentally shoot them! Then Creature posted that, and if you look at his posts on us earlier, like wtf, he’s working with us.
