Tried to make same reads. Didn't went very well so I will post same observations here. Hopefully it helps.

People who are trying to scum hunt
-TTTT
-RCEnigma

People who made at least same kind of reads
-MKM
-themavneet
-Voted
-Datisi
People contributing to scumunting conservation but slighty
-ClearlyClarity
-Vedith

People who haven't posted anything of value
-Saladman

I have a feeling that TTTT is trying to push the converstion forward, moderate it. Probably most town like behaviour here.

Saladman and thenavneet never joined these wagoons. Clearly Clarity joined only as random voter.
Ignoring TTTT who is more or less trying to move conservation forward, I and Saladman have different non-random voters.

Based on votes:
Wild accustation:
me and Saladman have different alignment.
Even wilder accustation:
his potencial scumbuddy would be RCEnigma (salad's vote and unvote)

Don't take it that I am trying to frame Salad as much as I can. Just posting my reads.

UNVOTE: VOTE: Navneet

I think you have bad luck with rolls though I think you've slipped. Generally I ignore slip-type posts but this is a bit on the nose.

UNVOTE: maybe I'm over thinking and it's just an oversight kind of thing.

So, I kind of like voteds last post. But I sprung up as a counter push to Voteds wagon and it's got me thinking.

Yeah but I don't think it makes much sense as either alignment to think that way and less likely to be a slip. I'd also be implying I myself am scum with nav if I consider it an actual slip.

Well how do you know what town scumhunting and scum scumhunting look like and how they're different? This isn't like a right or wrong thing I just want to know what criteria you look for.

As an aside Voted still hasn't done anything that rectifies why I was originally scumreading him. I still haven't elaborated but that's mostly because the slots that I want to take hard stances haven't taken hard stances.

"I saw no real reason for any of the other 8 people to be scum"

Is this is what you're talking about? When thinking who could be scum, I would only look at 8 other people wouldn't I? I know I'm not scum. So everyone else has a 1 in 8 chance of being scum when the Day started.

I've already said I'll ignore it. However, if you yourself aren't scum then 2 of the other 8 slots are. A random vote to start the day is more likely to land on town than scum and you haven't done anything to slim those numbers down so to think that your Rand vote landed on scum is poor reasoning.

It also doesn't reinforce wether I'm scum or not scum, just thank you aren't bothered to figure out if you are voting scum or town.

I think in your case I'm giving more leeway for a couple different reasons - new player, both games played you rolled scum I believe? So you may not have a strong base on how to scumhunt or what looks scummy when you aren't playing an informed slot.

I'll use my Voted read as an example. In addition to the things I've mentioned there are a couple things going on with him such as the contrast between his initial calm reaction when his wagon peaked and the survivalist push he made on salad afterwards. So 1, it could be seen as a playstyle difference (goes along with my theory of Voted +coaching, possible SE). His disinterest in wether scum was voting him or not is +scum, scum!him would already know if this is true or not so may not be bothered with soring out motivations or intentions. His unvote on salad when Vedith posted intent to hammer could go either way I guess. No one has really come to his defense so normally I would like to think he's town being left out by scum to cook but his pressure flipped onto me when I pushed further so I can't really ignore that and call it town.

This will be the last time I comment on it.

The chance that you rolled scum is the same that anyone else rolled scum. 1 of 8. That's what I meant with my original statement and clarification.

I have indeed rolled scum twice before this. I actually have rolled town once as well but I went inactive in that game. I was Town Doctor too and I had never been Town Doc before and was super excited to try it out. But stuff happened and I didn't have time to post here. C'est la vie.

I'm sensing that you are slightly frustrated that I haven't moved my RVS vote. Which is fair I get that. I did state earlier that I thought your interaction with saladman seemed slightly SvS and seemed like you were coaching him. Ironically enough you have put forth a similar hypothesis about Voted and their scum partner being an SE coaching them to defend themselves. Which is interesting. Is it out of the realm of possibility that scum!RCE is pushing a noob scum + SE coach scum narrative because subconsciously he knows that's the case? Food for thought!

re: your points about Voted. The only thing I can agree on is the contradiction you pointed out here

Aside that I don't see what you're seeing. I'm not seeing where the pressure flipped to you. The only votes on you are me and Vedith. And I reckon Vedith's is a joke vote? Mine started out as a joke vote and I'm very likely going to be moving to saladman because so far the only thing that pinged me was that weird interaction between you and saladman. Which looks worse on saladman than it does on you and in case it really is you and saladman as the scum team, it still makes sense to vote him first.
