Here are my honest reads after catching up, note: I am very bad at mafia as a whole so take it with a grain of salt:
Vedith: Town, he seems reasonable and posts valuable posts.
Navneet: Scummy, I haven’t really seen them post much at all, either that or I’m am blind.
Voted: Slight scummish, I think they’re a bit apprehensive and seems to delay questions.

Anyways, that’s pretty much it, I think the game will probably end with me lynched anyways.

So... With all the Salad/Voted/RCE votes going on, you never changed your vote. Are you thinking about changing it? What made you stick?

I don't really like to move my vote unless I feel I've found a good spot for it or if there's some other sensible reason. Only time I really felt motivated to vote was on Voted earlier on, but they were already at L-2 when I got home from work that night and my read on Voted's only weakened since then.

Not super jazzed about the Salad wagon right now since regardless of alignment, he does just seem disengaged from what's going on right now. There's some sense in pushing it in order to try to motivate him more and flesh out proper reads, but I'm skeptical that it'll accomplish much. That's why I tried to talk to Salad earlier, because I got the sense they'd respond better to a good cop kinda approach.

At the moment I'm trying to figure out how I feel about the SEs, and my gut's telling me that should be my highest priority.

I actually fundamentally disagree with this. A disengaged player, town or scum, hurts the game state. He's an easy push for scum to make if he is town and remains this way. Better to sort that early imo.

The chance that you rolled scum is the same that anyone else rolled scum. 1 of 8. That's what I meant with my original statement and clarification.

I have indeed rolled scum twice before this. I actually have rolled town once as well but I went inactive in that game. I was Town Doctor too and I had never been Town Doc before and was super excited to try it out. But stuff happened and I didn't have time to post here. C'est la vie.

I'm sensing that you are slightly frustrated that I haven't moved my RVS vote. Which is fair I get that. I did state earlier that I thought your interaction with saladman seemed slightly SvS and seemed like you were coaching him. Ironically enough you have put forth a similar hypothesis about Voted and their scum partner being an SE coaching them to defend themselves. Which is interesting. Is it out of the realm of possibility that scum!RCE is pushing a noob scum + SE coach scum narrative because subconsciously he knows that's the case? Food for thought!

I've already said I'll ignore it. However, if you yourself aren't scum then 2 of the other 8 slots are. A random vote to start the day is more likely to land on town than scum and you haven't done anything to slim those numbers down so to think that your Rand vote landed on scum is poor reasoning.

It wasn't a big deal, but you felt the need to justify that slip, then made it seem as though RCE was pushing it.

I do see how that comes across as defensive. It kinda WAS a big deal to me because it seemed like my intent got lost in translation there so I felt like I needed to clear it up. This was also around the time that the weird RCE-saladman interaction seemed SvS to me so that may have added to my desire to flesh out that back and forth a bit more.

What makes you feel that Navneet is scummy?

It's less that I'm reading him as scummy than just being second in my order of progression. Little things like his defensive interaction with RCE and his play being similar to his scum games' meta. Scumlean.

I'm loathe to policy lynch salad just for being bad at scumreading/being lurky, etc, because I did just that in my only other game. It's different when you have had no prior mafia experience, which most other newbies on this site at least have had on different platforms. It's reasonable to lynch in any other setup, but this is a Newbie game, and the aim is to help newbies segue into the MS meta.

I think your list of scumleans is pretty lazy but I also can't fault you for SRing the lower posters on D1 especially if you think that the scum team is a newbscum team. It IS kinda weird tho that you don't wanna policy lynch Salad yet you're ok with lynching Voted or me for reasons that seem pretty similar? You can correct me if I'm wrong about your reasons for SRing Voted and me though.

Also I'm confused how you think my game upto this point has been in any way similar to my scum game just prior to this. I was actively trying to push a narrative in my previous game as opposed to here I've done ... basically nothing. If you want my personal meta, I actually love being scum and hate being town. Because the site I come from has a lot of the same players playing over and over so it's gotten to the point where I can meta read most people fairly accurately. That makes them want to NK me N1 if I'm not on their scumteam.

To clarify, I'm not particularly opposed to a Salad lynch at this point in time, and I overall agree with you here and with the post you made earlier. Part of the reason I wasn't enthusiastic about it at the time was the thought that I'd have trouble sorting people afterward if Salad flipped town.

I didn't, but I can. While I don't agree with everything Clarity's said, it's all pretty well within the range of what I'd expect her to be saying and doing. Helps that I've known her for several years offsite.
