Good point, I should have mentioned we have at least one other associative scumhunter at the table. In post 99, Shoshin wrote:I strongly support the use of associations to scumhunt.
re. Whig (I keep forgetting to answer questions on my own reads o.0 I might be getting senile)
I thought his rvs vote was funny. I liked when shoshin/urap2/me were going back and forth at pretty high speed and being kind of obscure, and whig slipped in a jab at my vague offer to help people get into the game. I think it takes some pretty serious guts for scum in their first game onsite to dive into a fast paced convo like that and he sounded pretty tonally pure.
His scumread on Shoshin was also very inquisitive in nature and pretty creative in a way that makes me think he's been sitting back going "Wow.. do I really actually agree with this townread?" rather than "Hmm who should I convince these silly townies to mislynch, muahaha"
often when scum take stances against town players who are taking a strong position, it feels like there's a call for them to be dethroned and lynched -- townies being obviously-town is very much against scum's win condition. This read from whig was literally the opposite. I genuinely think he disagrees with my read on Shoshin and got the sense he felt the need to be heard on it.
